There were no signs at the intersection, and we saw two cars parked in front of the guesthouse from afar, assuming we could drive in. However, our electric scooter got scratched because of its low chassis. When we asked the owner, she said cars weren't allowed. If she already knew we were driving when she added us on WeChat, why couldn't she have informed us beforehand? Or at least put up a sign so we wouldn't have driven in! Besides, with two cars already parked in front, how could anyone know we couldn't go in? Secondly, the design of the family room is different. We stayed at Tingquan Hotel, and the children's bedroom was in the attic, but the way up was a regular wooden ladder—yes, the kind where each step is just a stick. My daughter was too scared to go up, so her dad slept upstairs. The pictures on Ctrip showed wooden planks with handrails on the steps, which was completely different.
