"This hotel is located in Manghong, Jingmai Mountain. Compared to other villages, it's quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to settle down. The hotel boasts two exceptional features. One is the windows, which can be fully opened to offer an unobstructed view of the sunset and sea of clouds. The other is its proximity to the Bajiao Pagoda, one of only two spots in the entire Jingmai Mountain scenic area to witness the sunrise and sea of clouds, just a 5-minute walk away! This natural advantage is truly irreplaceable! Upon check-in, we were treated to an incredibly elaborate and high-quality in-room afternoon tea. For drinks, you can choose from cold brew Pu'er, white tea, or sour tea, all freshly prepared by the hotel early each morning. They were delightfully sweet and refreshing. The homemade desserts were delicious and picture-perfect! Sitting by the window, sipping tea, and gazing at the undulating mountain ranges evoked a sense of a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. Spending an entire afternoon there was pure bliss! The ultimate vacation experience truly begins with this window. Time should absolutely be 'wasted' on such beauty. The hotel's design is very distinctive, which is why it immediately stood out and I booked it from many options. The striking black accents contrast beautifully with the warm, light-colored modern aesthetic. I later learned that the owner has a photography background, which explains the impeccable taste. The materials used are also very high-quality; the bedding is comfortable, and the Le Labo + Dyson amenities, along with a Marshall speaker, show the owner's thoughtful attention to detail. The biggest surprise, however, was the terrace. Located on the fourth floor, it's essentially the highest point in the village. As the sun sets over the ancient village, with the distant mountains, the history of Jingmai Mountain seems to come alive before your eyes. Holding a drink, you can watch the sun slowly descend behind the mountains, and then see a sky full of twinkling stars appear. The view is absolutely stunning! Cheers to that! Breakfast was delivered to our room, and again, we enjoyed it by the window, watching the clouds drift by. To witness such a scene felt like being in a mythical heavenly paradise, hahaha!!! We booked the hotel spontaneously while traveling. What drew us in was a picture of the window view. At the time, there were no reviews on Ctrip, and we were a bit worried it might just be a doctored stock photo. But upon arrival, we found it to be not only real but even more stunning in person, with every snap turning into a beautiful, professional-looking shot. The reason for the lack of Ctrip reviews was that the hotel had just opened, and we were actually their very first Ctrip guests! As it was Mid-Autumn Festival, the owner generously gifted us a box of delicious mooncakes – we loved them! Finally, on the day we checked out, a professional photographer happened to be staying at the hotel, and the owner enthusiastically arranged for them to capture some breathtaking photos of us against the evening glow. It was an unforgettable and perfect Mid-Autumn night!!! Our trip to Jingmai started with Wawu! Jingmai Mountain has definitely given me another reason to return and explore, and that reason is Wawu."
