I was very satisfied with my stay at Lotus Terrace Garden Resort! The hotel has a great location, with a quiet surrounding environment, and I could see beautiful scenery right from my window. The bed was comfortable, and all the facilities were easy to use. Both the front desk and service staff were patient in answering questions and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast also tasted good. Overall, it offers great value for money, and is suitable whether you're traveling with family or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Lushan!

The room is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities, a large bathtub, and very newly decorated. It has a mountain view room. The heating in the room is also sufficient. Even when it snows heavily, the room is not cold at all. Fruits are given in each room, and the oranges are very sweet. The breakfast is also very delicious. The service attitude is super good. The front desk upgraded the room for free. Because it is not very convenient for us to bring our baby, they also delayed our check-out. When we left, they also gave us a thermos cup and souvenirs. This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Lushan Anti-Japanese War Museum and the former site of the Lushan Conference, and not far from villas like Meilu. The hotel itself is a protected historical building, nestled against the mountains, surrounded by ancient trees, offering a beautiful environment. I particularly loved its historical charm and Republic of China-era decor. Facilities are comprehensive, and there's a dedicated elevator on the left side when facing the hotel. There's also a convenient parking lot right in front. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, with comfortable and clean bedding. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions about visiting Lushan, providing practical and effective suggestions that saved us time and helped us manage our energy for climbing. We are very grateful.

This hotel is on the uphill, inside the Lushan attraction. If you come to Lushan/Jiujiang by train, you need to go to their Sightseeing bus centre, and take their sightseeing bus to go up to another bus centre, and just give a call to the hotel, they would pick you up by a comfortable car. We had an unpleasant encounter with the didi driver driving us to the uphill, the driver was rude, even said to me “I got no time, just buy the ticket faster” (you need to purchase a ticket for the didi car and for yourself to drive up, an hour drive btw). So glad that the hotel staffs were all so nice and understanding. They welcomed us warmly, even listened to me complaining about the driver’s behaviour and rude remarks. They presented us with a welcoming fruit platter too! The hotel is clean, and very bear to Ruqin Lake. For my room, we got to wear 2 sets of hanfu for free (just put a deposit first, they’ll return the depo after you return the clothes). The staffs helped us bring our luggages into the room, even offered extra towel and room slippers since we came in 3. You got to experience brewing chinese tea by yourself too, since they prepared chinese tea leaves and chinese tea pot set in the room. Since we arrived there around 3, and had to take shower and clean up first, so we would only be able to start exploring Lushan at 4. The hotel staffs at the reception were so kind to prepare us with a map and gave us recommendations on places we can go, in the best order, since they know we would be walking until late at night. The picture of the lake is Ruqin Lake, it’s just in front of the hotel. As for the next morning, we had to wake up early to get a morning train from jiujiang to jingdezhen, so I asked for the receptionist’s help to make a wake-up call, in which they actually called our room at 4am! Thank you so much. Overall, the stay here was amazing! We will find for JI Hotel the next time we travel to China.

The views from the room were absolutely stunning—you can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery right from your window, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. However, the location is a bit far from 牯岭正街, where most restaurants and tour bus stations are. It takes about a 15–20 minute walk, which can feel quite tiring after a full day of climbing and exploring in Lushan. There is a shortcut—about an 8-minute uphill walk to the cableway station where you can catch the tour bus to 牯岭正街—but the last bus is at 6:40pm. If you stay out later, you’ll need to walk back (which can be quite a workout 😂). The hotel provides a washing machine and dryer, but there’s only one of each, so you may need to wait during busy periods. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for scenic views and a peaceful stay. However, it may not be the most convenient option if you’re traveling with elderly family members. One big plus is the free pick-up and drop-off service from the cableway, which is very helpful.

The hotel offers a complimentary pickup service from the Lushan mountain bus station and the mountain cable car entrance. I was really touched that they came to pick me up even though I was the only guest. After I got off the cable car, I called them, and they arrived in just a few minutes, like my own private car, haha. Once we arrived, the staff carried my luggage all the way to the hotel. After I checked in, they even brought it to my room – so thoughtful! The front desk also helped me plan my itinerary and told me about the sightseeing bus schedule. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the main street, with beautiful views. The dehumidifier worked wonders! My clothes dried completely overnight after I washed them. The only minor downside is the lack of large bath towels (I heard this is common in Jiangxi). They provide thin, disposable towels, which aren't quite enough if you have long hair...

The wooden cabins are not as nice (clean, quiet, comfortable) as the main building’s rooms. You can literally hear the TV and conversations of the neighbors through the walls even if they’re just talking at an acceptable indoor volume. The bathroom is not really clean (toilet, shower mat). The location of the hotel is great except for when it comes to car pickup and drop off. I gave full marks (4x 5 stars) for my 1-night stay in the building, and 90% (2x 4 stars, 2x 5 stars) for my 3-night stay in the wooden cabin. This place was great all-in-all, but do be aware of the big difference between the regular room and the “upgraded” one. Oh, and the duo in the kitchen are a hoot! Loved them! Thank you to Shu Shu and Ayi for all the delicious food. Ask the staff for recommendations as well for what to do and where to go (weather conditions and time permitting). They were all very helpful. Coming to Lushan made me realize how important choosing the right hotel is! Shanshui Luyi Hotel is located on Guling Main Street, right downstairs from restaurants and transportation hubs, making it convenient to go anywhere. The room, though small, was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the hot water was great. Despite the high humidity on the mountain, there was no musty smell. The service was the best part; the front desk staff were very helpful in planning routes and even provided free shuttle service to the cable car station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lushan. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

The room is big, the bed is big, the yard is big, there is breakfast, the service is super invincible, I bring a three-way dog, one person can not go to Sandiquan, the proprietress helped bring the dog, rounded my dream of Lushan, really good, if not on the road, I want to live for a few days, I am surprised by the pets, I hope that there are more such good proprietress hotels along the way, which is great, beyond my imagination
