I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shunan Zhuhai Xiuzhu Pingzhuang Residence for one night, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the owners, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality was truly exceptional—they were always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring my stay was as seamless as possible. The residence itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. What truly stood out, though, was the genuine care and attention from the owners. They made me feel like a valued guest, and their positive energy added so much to my stay. Charming hotel in the midst of the bamboo forest. Very near to the famous bamboo walk and no 3 road scenic bus and , walking distance to cable car. The live fish pot was simply delicious and owner told us all water comes from the spring. Both breakfast were delicious.

Room: small but clean. Ok for a short stay. Breakfast: Chinese type, noodles, no coffee or anything else Location: The hotel is located just around 15 min walk from the park entrance gate. Based on a park map, there should be a park tourist bus, unfortunately there is no bus schedule available and hotel personnel also is not aware and highly recommend to rent a private car.

Come to Shunan Zhuhai to recommend a hotel for winter travel. The room is very warm, the bed is very comfortable, automatic toilet, wet and dry separation, you can also take a bath, and the TV can also be cast... The room has a large balcony, and the view outside the window is also very good... The two young girls at the front desk are beautiful and have a good temperament. Their service is very enthusiastic. They help solve problems in a timely manner and patiently introduce guides to various attractions. They are very considerate! The hotel's breakfast can also be delivered to your room. The restaurant's dishes are delicious, including bamboo shoot noodles, fried beef with bamboo shoots, and porcini mushrooms. Highly recommended... The parking lot is not far away, but there is also a valet parking service... The overall stay experience is very nice! Super five-star praise!

The Little Pony Homestay is in a good location, close to the Forget-your-worries Valley. The room is spacious, clean, and has a nice view on giant farns and bamboo. We stayed there with two kids. The hotel's staff is very nice and helpful. One lady speaks very good English. Besides, she is also a good Majiang teacher. Good food as well!

The hotel is located inside the attraction area which we have to buy the entrance ticket to get to enter. The lady owner will drive out to pick us up to her hotel and she helps to buy discounted cable car ticket to view the sea of bamboo. Moreover, the bamboo feast set lunch (RMB588) provided at the hotel is quite good but a bit expensive. Some of the rooms we booked have toilets with squatting and therefore, please call the hotel to ensure the sitting toilet instead of squatting one. She is willing to change one of the rooms for us to sitting toilet.

The hotel is well located right in the middle of the Bamboo forest. The family that owns it is a great team. As a solo foreigner without a car it's difficult to understand how to explore the scenic area. The son was really informative, very patient and helpful and recommended itineraries for each day. He also explained transport to arrive at the hotel and at my next destination. The mother cooks tasty food with bamboo specialties. The father offers a transport service to take you to the different scenic area points and that was also very helpful. I recommend staying 2 days to appreciate the whole scenic area, and I recommend staying in this hotel. Thank you for helping me during my stay!
