Haka House Hostels Aoraki Mt Cook
9.3 (173 reviews)

Haka House Hostels Aoraki Mt Cook ★★★★

📍 4 Kitchener Drive, Mount Cook Village

"It was so hard to book a room at Mount Cook that I could only reserve a bed at this hostel a month in advance. The room was an 8-person dorm with bunk beds, and it was surprisingly clean for my first time staying in this kind of accommodation. It was a bit noisy with people coming and going due to the number of guests. There's a free communal kitchen with plenty of utensils, but you need to bring your own ingredients, oil, salt, and other seasonings. Laundry service costs extra. Free Wi-Fi is available, and many people gather outside after 10 PM to stargaze."

Aoraki Court Motel

Aoraki Court Motel ★★★★

📍 Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park 26 Bowen Drive, Mount Cook Village

"- Aoraki Court is our favourite accommodation out of the 7 we booked for our NZ trip. - amazing view of Mt Cook from the room (do wake up for sunrise, sunrise view is definitely worth it while having breakfast in the room). - car is right outside the room (allocated lot). - room is cozy and spacious. - able to stargaze right outside the room on a clear night. - bonus if you love animals. there are 2 ducks always roaming around."

Mt Cook Lodge & Motels ★★★★

📍 Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park Glencoe Access Road, Mount Cook Village

"Extremely difficult to find, especially after dark. The staff didn't provide adequate directions to the correct building at all."

Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge
8.8 (49 reviews)

Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge ★★★★

📍 Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park Glencoe Access Road, Mount Cook Village

"Small but cosy hotel that was very clean and comfortable. Great for a quiet stay. Only downside is there’s no on-site restaurant, so you’ll need to head to a nearby hotel for food. Still, it’s a nice, simple place to rest before heading out to the glaciers."

"Pretty good. They have a drying room and outdoor clothesline, and you can store your luggage for free. The restaurant has nice views, and there's a sauna."

Aoraki Court Motel ★★★★
"We had a wonderful stay at Koura Apartments. The location is amazing, with beautiful lake and mountain views right from the property. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the lake and the peaceful surroundings. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were well maintained, and everything we needed was provided."
