"Starting with the staff, they were very good. The young lady who checked us in was great at explaining everything. The place is modern and funky as was our room. The decor and furnishings were good and the bed comfy. Disappointingly there was lots of dust and cobwebs in our room which was poor. Even worse was the toilet which had been missed on the cleaning of the room before our arrival, totally unacceptable. . The breakfast too was disappointing, we both orders the same, Auction House breakfast. One came with one sausage, one with two. No bacon, one hash brown undercooked and overcooked eggs. Had we not paid in advance, I’d have underpaid for our stay. I’d stay again but without the breakfast."

"We had a large family room between two of us; it was ideal. Very reasonable price. Unlikely to get a lie-in though as it faced the car park and road and presumably there'll always be something making a noise, in our case beer deliver about 7.30. Evening meal was fine with nice food but service a bit slow, same with breakfast. Beer nice. And yes, the view from the beer garden is lovely on a sunny evening."

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and some little extra surprises due to our long stay. We cannot thank them enough for making our holiday just that little bit more special. Highly recommended."
