"If you're looking for a quiet place out of the city, this is the place for you. The service is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I loved everything."

"On arrival you are greeted by a fairly attractive wood and thatched roof complex containing reception and other hotel facilities.The check in by Nesto was very friendly and efficient as was baggage handling .Our ocean view bungalow (129) reflected the rustic theme of the property , with a large veranda, spacious sitting area combined with the bedroom and a large separate bathroom , unfortunately the accommodation is rather dated even though this is the best hotel in the area and part of a significantFrench chain . Connectivity is non existent except in reception and even there it’s not very good , a problem for those of us who have work to do even when on vacation.Noise management is good but sleep quality is only average as the mattress is thin linen is not the best and the bed is very close to the ground add to that a persistent smell of a strong insect repellent and this room was not the best . Externally there are two nice pools with a good supply of sun loungers it’s a pity that the mattresses are old and not especially clean . The spa however is pleasant and the massage was excellent and very good value.There is a restaurant offering half or full board( there are not any other restaurants in the area other than hotel offerings) .The evening menu is very limited with no vegetarian options which if like us you keep kosher or are a vegetarian is a problem ,although they did prepare Tuna for us instead of the squid on offer . The breakfast options are not very good with some commonplace staples not provided , service is extremely hit and miss with long waits in the evening for plates to be cleared (35 minutes between main course and dessert ) in the morning it’s worse with staff standing around talking amongst themselves. In short it does seem as though very little money is invested in day to day management , or property updates . I don’t think we will be back any time soon."

"We stayed here for 2 nights after a visit to Tsingy. It was perfect! The rooms were ready for us, and there were porters to help with the bags. The lodge, restaurant, and pool are right on the beach. The beach is also very quiet and it was lovely to just walk along it and play in the sand and water. It's also nice to walk on the road- there are some Malagasy restaurants and craft stores. The restaurant staff are very friendly, and the menu is very large. They had a few vegetarian options. The pool is very clean and lovely to swim in- though it was cold! They unfortunately do not provide housing for drivers, but might offer you a 'discounted rate' (60,000 Ar). Make sure you agree on this price at the beginning. Also, they generally don't take credit card- it likely won't be a problem if booking/paying in advance though. The hotel is on the higher end price-wise, but it is really a delightful hotel and was the highlight of our trip for many. A great place to unwind, grab a cocktail, get a massage, and just relax on the beach!"
