After speaking with front desk manager they said, we have already received your money. You can do what ever you want. They said our policies are more important than a situation beyond human control. We were forced to come there after a week. Checkin process very poor. We booked garden suite. Room condition extremely poor. Hot water only comes for a minute. They have geezer. Ac remote wasn't working. We had infant with us. No proper care taken. Lot of mosquitoes inside the room. Breakfast was unhygienic. Flies and mosquitoes all around. Extremely limited options to eat. Food was cold. Stortage of staff. Unable to manage customers. Dont go by their photos and videos kept on Instagram or any other third party website. Completely a different picture when you see the same in person. Overall a pathetic experience. There are many near by properties such as Riva, mayfair, goa beach resort."

"The room we stayed at was room with private pool. On check in we found that a rat had nibbled through some tea and milk sachets which had been placed just a few minutes ago When we asked for a room change, they initially tried to convince us that they were sold out. But on insisting, they gave another room by evening. The curtains are dirty. There is no exhaust fan in the loo. The breakfast is very very basic for such high room rates. The Hype in NOT REAL. Some of the staff were enthusiastic & helpful. Most seemed uninterested and dull. There is mold in some places. Some lights were not working. AC is not at all sufficient to cool the room to a even a basic level of 'Cool'. All in all a resort that WAS/CAN be good....but unfortunately is mostly dull, not that clean, lacking maintenance, unkept and dirty in quite a few places. Is is VFM... ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have been to Goa at least a dozen times if not more....and this resort has been the most disappointing of all."

"Have been to Goa plenty of times but my stay at Sur La Mer was the best so far. Had a great trip with my family. The food is absolutely yumtious both Indian and Continental. The rooms are spatious ,neat and clean . Staff is courteous and helpful. Highly recommend as its a beautiful property to go solo or with family. A big Thank you for a wonderful time to the owners Aneel and Naine . Wl be back soon for sure!"

"We booked Montego Bay as it’s pet friendly and right on the beach. The place is great. And we will definitely go back. But there are a few things that they can be better at. 1. Restaurant doesn’t allow pets. (Either you are pet friendly or you are not) they have a seperate area called the pet zone where they have put comfortable seating and you can have your food and drinks there. The only issue is that they don’t have fans there nor enough lights so sitting outside during the day is torture. And in the night it’s a breeding ground for mosquitoes. If you don’t want people with pets in your restaurant then please make outside comfortable with fans and enough lights. Pros- the staff is super sweet and attentive. They made sure we were never out of food and drinks. Specially a sweet boy named Sai. 2. Rooms- the rooms are large compared to other places. We had the garden view suite. The better ones are the sea view suites. The issue with rooms is that it doesn’t have enough lights. It’s really dark. Some might find it cosy I just found it dark. The area where they keep your suitcases is absolutely dark and even the mirrors have no light so all the best to you when you are dressing up. I am hoping that by the time we come back they have made some changes."
