Le Coq Chantant B&B and Boutique Hotel

Le Coq Chantant B&B and Boutique Hotel

Morges|8.16km from downtown
We were in the Suite Brel, which offers a lot of space and a stylish setting. In particular, the very comfortable 2.10m bed is exceptional and offers a lot of pleasure. The room has a practical kitchenette and the rich breakfast in good quality, including with housed confectionery and fine fruit juice is delivered to the room on request. Also rührei is on order gayi The garden is lovely, maintained and really a well-being with the well. The place is quiet and in a few minutes you are in the winegrowers or with the car in the picturesque town of Aubonne. At arrival, you take time for the guests and it is pointed to excursions. The stay was very pleasant, relaxing and the price-performance ratio is good and in principle appropriate. Optimization potential is in the reception. Check-in is specified at 17-19 clock and you will be asked to indicate the arrival time by email. As a regular traveler, I have never met such a late check-in, so the room price is relatively expensive ( you can only use the room two hours later than usual). The reception itself looked rather cool and you are asked to complete a form immediately and provide details of breakfast needs. It would be more pleasant if you could fill it in a quiet time at a later time in the room. There was no separate shower, a bathroom for it, and the lavabo water hair can be only difficult to regulate without it being injected and the wall is wet. Total 4-4.5 Points. I think recreational people will appreciate this accommodation very much. It is clean, maintained, beautifully furnished, spacious and the bed is beautiful.

Hotel de Savoie

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the train station. After coming out, follow the road in front of McDonald's and continue to the train station. Go straight and walk to the pedestrian street. The room is small, the bed is very big, but the sound insulation is very bad.... The closed person speaks, the door is closed, the snoring is very clear... The back of the hotel is the pedestrian street, starting early every Wednesday morning. There is a market, very lively. There are also supermarkets and many eating restaurants nearby.
Hostellerie Le Petit Manoir

Liked · The location Disliked · For starters the hotel offered parking (seven parking stalls for 24 rooms), therefore the parking charge overnight is Francs 30.00 (in our case that worked out to 2.50 francs per hour. The breakfast offering was Continental breakfast at 15.00 Francs per person or for a buffet breakfast 25.00 francs per person staying in the room. Therefore this hotel located in Morges charges more for their Room then the Hyatt Regency at the airport in Zurich. In the morning my son found three long black hair underneath his pillow - he is blond and has short hair. The bathtub is 6 feet, extremely slippery with no hand rail anywhere in sight to enter or exist this deep or( if you want high tub.) The new building is behind the old house and looks rather new but this does not change the fact the hygiene does not seem a high priority. I would not stay again in this hotel, I simply know the difference between good and mediocre.

We booked a junior suite with a kitchenette for a week. The hotel is new and very tastefully decorated. It's close to the highway in an industrial zone, but that didn't bother us at all. There are shops nearby (e.g. Lidl 5 minutes walk away) and you can take nice walks to the lake or in the vineyards. The room was clean and the staff was always very friendly. The kitchenette had a microwave, a small refrigerator, a kettle and two hotplates. You have to take the rest (dishes, pots, washing-up liquid, etc.) with you yourself. We didn't think too much about it and just bought a few things. We had a very nice time and will definitely come back!
Hotel de la Nouvelle Couronne
4.1/530 Reviews
Morges is a charming little town on the shores of Lac Leman, with a historic high street and castle, and directly connected to Geneva Airport by train. The Hotel de la Nouvelle Couronne is situated in the historic part of town, and has been modernised internally with elevator etc. It is not the most spacious hotel internally and has a rather inelegant reception, but the rooms are well appointed, bathrooms are good, beds extremely comfortable and the whole place is impeccably clean, which makes it very good value (for Switzerland!) compared to other options in the town whcih might offer more amenitites of a better view from the room. A varied and tasty continental breakfast plus hams and cheeses etc. is served in a historic room with a polished wood floor, which adds character. Overall, a really good night's sleep and good value compared to other options, but don't expect to spend much time in the hotel room other than at night. Reception is not open 24/7 (closes for the night), but the hotel administration is extremely attentive to customer needs and they have a 24 hour phone line in an emergency.
La Maison d'Igor
4.4/521 Reviews
The restaurant attached to this historic 80th-century residence (habited there for some time Igor Stravinski), transformed into B&B with some claim of exclusivity, is announced as an Italian restaurant, But despite good will and best intentions, it suffers from contamination with local cuisine and customs. Most (too) packaging dishes without particular touch of originality or creative flames. We are in a typical Italian restaurant (in the specific case, especially Napoletano) abroad. Good choice of wines, also Italians, quick and courteous service, vintage atmosphere and, very appreciable in the beautiful season, the terrace and garden, despite the noise of the surrounding traffic. Maybe to try again ...

I love going on business trips to this hotel. Everything is always in order, clean, well located, nice staff and good breakfast. For me this is definitely the best place to stay in Morges and I recommend it.
