"This hotel is remote, peaceful and in a beautiful setting. The style is rustic - rust coloured tiles on the floor, white washed walls, wooden beams in the ceiling and wooden window shutters. It is set in a beautiful complex with a pool (closed until May when we visited). Food at the hotel - breakfast choices are simple but ample and well re-stocked. The evening meals were delicious with ample food. The room I had (10) overlooked the rear but I could see the sun rising over the nearby hills. It is a hacienda style with some rooms situated outside of the main building. Perfect if you’re looking for peace & quiet and countryside."

"A very quaint place. Decorations could all use a refresh as they looked like they were from 2005 but that didn’t impact our stay. The service was great and so was the food. We had dinner and breakfast here. All of which was delicious. The views were wonderful and you are out away from the hustle of the city which is perfect for a relaxing retreat. The fireplace in the common area was extremely nice to sit by. My husband and I played games and read in front of it both nights and enjoyed our time!"

"This accommodation is excellent and in a fabulous location. Raul and Flo are exceptional hosts making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everywhere is spotlessly clean inside and out and is all so well presented. We opted for the breakfasts at extra charge, which were very good value and beautifully presented and prepared, many of the items home grown in the garden. Use of the communal kitchen for drinks, snacks and a fridge/freezer was very useful. The countryside around Montecorto is stunning. We changed our itinerary to explore the surrounding villages and do some walks. One thing to bear in mind is that Montecorto is a very small village with only one restaurant serving evening food, so you will need to drive to neighbouring towns and villages."
