"The location was perfect, however the rest has been undesirable. First off, Autumn was pleasant at check in & found I had a 2nd reservation when there should've only been one. She cancelled one and checked us in the other. In the room there was only 1 set of towels & they were so used they were stained & gray. I went to the front desk to ask for a 2nd set of towels and was told there weren't any wash cloths because the shipment hadn't arrived. In the room, the fire alarm had been pulled off the wall & the wires were hanging. In the bathroom the center light in the ceiling had been removed. Later in the evening I received a notification that my reservation had been cancelled, so I looked at it and the wrong reservation had been cancelled. The cancelled reservation I made in April was about $100 less than the reservation that was used for check in. I talked to the night clerk and she asked me to email the cancelled reservation to the manager because the rate wasn't showing on the computer. She told me the manager would refund the amount of the over charge back to my credit card. She said she was leaving a note for the manager & I could talk to mgr in the morning. The next morning we checked out before the mgr arrived. Autumn checked me out and I mentioned to her what happened and she told me she thought she cancelled the higher rate reservation & she apologized several times. She said she'd also mention it to the mgr and for me to look for a refund to my credit card. I have been home over 10 days and have tried multiple occasions to reach the manager to no avail, Emails and phone calls. A clerk emailed me back once & clerks I talked to took my number and told me the mgr would look into my issue and call me back. I have heard nothing from the manager thus far. I've joined "my6" because we've always liked staying at Motel 6 & Suite 6 Hotels, but I am reconsidering."
