CX Modena Crocetta
"Efficiency and kindness at the front desk, clean and spacious single room, very nice breakfast: all at a very reasonable price."
Best Western Premier Milano Palace Hotel
"Conveniently located, just a four-minute walk from the historic center, the rooms are beautiful with marble floors and pleasant air conditioning. The staff are extremely welcoming."
B&B Hotel Modena
"When I first entered the room, I thought everything was fine. When I wanted to turn down the heating for sleep (room was at 26C), it wasn't possible, as this can apparently only be done by the receptionist, which in itself is questionable - but to make it really bad, there is nobody at the reception between 11pm and 7am. So I opened the window but then some insects came inside and as soon as I closed it again, the temperature went back up. Could not sleep all night. Then additionally found some hairs and sticky spots in the bathroom. According to the receptionist I spoke to in the morning (all staff were very friendly, but not available when I needed them), AC is not available until April 20th, but they don't bother to remove this from the amenities, even though they know it won't be available - false advertising. Breakfast was advertised as "better than a brunch" but is at best a mediocre breakfast, at least for continental standards - again false advertising. Pre bought stuff mostly and the only freshly prepared scrambled eggs were dried at the edges with some almost liquid parts in the middle, came with barely warm sausages. What kind of brunch this is supposed to beat, no idea. The location itself and the rest is ok, but not being able to sleep ruined my last day in Italy. Every other hotel on my trip had working AC, even the budget 30€/night hotels. To be fair, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was decent and there was a nice large balcony."
Rmh Modena des Arts
"It seems to be a photo of this hotel. There is a Conad supermarket and a gas station next to it. There is a female security guard in this supermarket who always mistook me for a thief and followed me secretly. Later, when I went to pay, she chased after me. When she saw me swiping the card, she breathed a sigh of relief and turned away."
Hotel San Geminiano
"A comfortable and comfortable two steps from the center."
Hotel Estense
"a quiet hotel in Modena"
Central Park Hotel Modena
"Lovely location. Excellent staff. Very nice rooms. Close to the main piazzas. Excellent parking which I think was free. Loved this hotel with pleasant room with a balcony overlooking the road at the front which was quiet. Recommended. Perhaps some balcony furniture would have helped."
Albergo Moderno
"Great choice if you want to save budget for something more worthwhile to do."
Lvg Hotel Collection - Principe
"Overall Ok stay. Hotel room was a bit cramped, but very convenient to get to the station of Modena. Very basic breakfast buffet. Staff was nice and polite, but we had some problems as they did not have proof of prepayment for the room."

Hotel Rua Frati 48 in San Francesco
"Great location, easy walk to most anywhere in Modena city center. We stayed 6 nights. Relatively quiet, good breakfast with lovely staff. Had an unfortunate situation where money was stolen while we popped down to the bar for a drink after a long day. Had to ask where the laundry we had sent out was and they said the lady would be bringing it up right away. I had left my bag on the bed. When I came back, laundry was on the bed, and when I realized I had left my bag there I immediately unzipped it to find my wallet was left un-zipped and about €150 missing. She didn’t take it all, and she forgot to zip up the wallet. When I reported it to main desk they said they called her and of course she denied it. The assured me the manager would speak to me when he returned on Monday( this happened on a Saturday) Never happened. I had to just let it go. I NEVER leave anything out, and we left the room just to go down for a drink. I hope she put the $$ to good use, like maybe if she had children to care for. Otherwise this was a good stay."
Hotel Real Fini Baia Del Re
"Personal friendly, room large"
Hotel Europa
"We booked a family room at Hotel Europa, but instead were given separate rooms — and even accommodated in a different hotel nearby. This was not what we expected, and we were not informed in advance. At the very least, an update or explanation should have been provided. When you book one thing and get something else, it's very frustrating. Overall, poor service and disappointing experience."
Hotel Daunia
"Was not what we were expecting. The room was small, bed was not comfortable, the flooring in our room was missing planks. Our room was on the front of the hotel, so our room was very loud with the road so close and the hospital across the street. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was basic hotel spread. No AC and no screens on windows, so we had to choose between being hot, bugs and noise."
Villa Matildis
Residence Antico Borgo
"We (a family of four) stayed at Antico Borgo for one night in August 2024, while traveling between Campania and Trentino. Our stay was wonderful, thanks both to the comfort provided by the property and to the courtesy and professionalism of Davide, who welcomed us. We were very impressed by the tranquility of the property, both the beautifully maintained garden and the room. We thank Davide for his availability, courtesy, and the love he puts into his work. He was truly attentive to our every need. We even left something in the room when we checked out, and he arranged to have it shipped to our home. I would definitely recommend staying at Antico Borgo, and we ourselves plan to return for a vacation in Emilia. Antico Borgo's location is enviable, being very close to the center of Modena, but above all, close to the main extra-urban roads and the highway. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast or a quick lunch. The cleanliness was impeccable."
La Bella Modena Centro
"It smells bad and the room looked like a prison cell. There is no onsite staff. No amount of economizing could be worth staying here."
Affittacamere Orchidea for Tourists Hesperia Hosp
Vittorio Veneto 25
"Nice location, very responsive"
B&b Igea 50
"Gianna and Giuliano were beyond helpful and inviting. Gianna gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner and even made restaurant reservations for us. She shared helpful information about the area, places to visit and specialties of the area. Her home was spotless and her breakfasts were unbelievable. She had nine homemade cakes/tortes. She also had homemade preserves, bread, fresh fruit and eggs. We had a wonderful stay!!"
Royal Room & Breakfast
"For the third time I can only confirm the great cleaning and breakfast, we always return.Peefetto for a visit to Modena or for working trips"
La Bella Modena Giardini Appartamenti
Hotel le Ville
"Friendly and very helpful staff. Ideally located for visits to Ferrari Lamborghini and Pavarotti museums. We had an evening flight and were able to able to arrange a late checkout,6pm for a fee. There is a very good family run restaurant adjacent to the hotel, which is recommended."
Salotto Delle Arti
"We spent three nights here in a Superior Room, I believe it was Architecture. The room was directly off the reception area, but it was quiet. We never heard any activity in the evening or early mornings. The beautifully decorated room was open, bright, and airy. The bed was comfortable, with high quality linens. The bath was also spacious with large, fluffy towels and a large shower with lots of hot water. A small issue was lighting over the mirror and sink which could have been a bit better. The property is small, at just five rooms. It occupies most of one floor in a late 19th Century Palazzo. The rooms were meticulously restored retaining the original inlaid floors, many of the doors, the painted ceilings; and most impressive, the beautifully hand painted walls. Entry is through a courtyard, and there is an elevator. The location is ideal. It is easy to get to and from the property by car. Parking is on the street but there were always spaces available. We had a pass to display on our dash, so we did not have feed the parking meter. Walking from the hotel to the center of Modena took only a few minutes. We really appreciated the common area and the amenities it provided. In the morning it served as the breakfast room. The rest of the day it served as a lounge offering snacks and beverages. In the evening, we stopped for a small glass of liquor before going to bed. Benedetta, the owner, was a pleasure to meet. She offered suggestions, arranged a balsamic vinegar tour for us at the last minute, and in general, made us feel like guests in her home."
