"We were due to stay the villas in August as we had stayed at the Sheraton last year and loved the area but the Sheraton could not accommodate us as a family of four in one room and as it stated we could use the facilities at the Sheraton (best of both worlds) . However, on reading reviews we could see that there was a charge involved in this so as we are a family of four i wanted to gage what we this would cost. In the end we contacted the Sheraton direct who informed it was 28 euros per person per day (Adults) children 7 euros. This unfortunately this does not include the outdoor pool (this was the main reason for using the Sheraton as we had children) - non Sheraton guests can't use the outdoor pool in high season at any cost. If we had of arrived and found this information out it would have been a huge disappointment to us. The apartments look beautiful and the area is so lovely but i felt i needed to inform people of this in case like us had booked on the basis they could use the Sheraton pool. We have since cancelled this booking but only on the basis that it didn't meet our requirements and for no other reason. And i have rated it a 3 as i needed to put something. I am not complaining i am just trying to make it clear for people."

"The hotel isn't located in the city center but is conveniently located. It has all the typical resort hotel facilities, and I played tennis on the court for two days. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the stay was very comfortable."

"A super tidy hotel in a great location, with indoor and outdoor pools and beach access. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and cultured. They even prepared a fruit lunch box for us because we left the hotel early. Big compliments to the head of staff and, of course, to the waiter Alen. The food selection for breakfast and dinner was very diverse. I recommend Astarea in every way for a short or long-term stay."

"Apartments Villa Enzian comfort. It is of superb quality 5*****. It is impeccably clean. Maria was very helpful and informative for all our requirements. On a day with a high temperature of 34C, it was appreciated to receive fantastic consideration, a cool white wine, and cold drinks in the fridge upon arrival. The accommodations for four individuals were exceptional, with two suites and a third bathroom located in the hallway. At night, the air conditioning in the bedrooms was quiet and life-saving when set on silent mode, while it was also quiet during daylight hours. The beds are both clean and comfortable. The living room is spacious and spacious, and the patio doors allow access to a stunning seaview with a view of the beach. Sipping wine on the veranda at night and watching the sun set was something we thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen is of high standard with all the utensils that you need. The patio doors also open onto the veranda. I would have preferred a washing machine instead of a dishwasher when staying over seven nights, but there was no need because the towels were changed during our stay. The villa is elevated on a hill, like most villas in Croatia, to take advantage of the sea views. Although the steps to Croatia's beaches are challenging, they are worth the effort. The bakery and convenience store are easily accessible by walking, and there is a safe traffic light crossing to the beach across the road. The 10 or 16 bus service to Dubrovnik is available for 3 euros and takes about 15 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartments Villa Enzian comfort"

"My husband and I booked 3 nights here at the end of August. The accommodation appeared to be stunning, clean, modern etc. After the first night we woke up with numerous bites. These continued to get worst over the next couple of nights. We were then moving on to our next accommodation but the bites were so bad en route to the next accommodation we ended up at the hospital at which point the Dr told us they were bedbug bites. She was absolutely adamant this was the case although foolishly we didn't ask her to write that on the receipt that she wrote us. As you can imagine we were horrified. After both receiving injections which were to help with the bites we went on to our next accommodation. We contacted *********** to let them know at which point they said they were taking it very seriously and would investigate. We decided to shelve it till we got home so that we didn't ruin the remainder of our holiday. I would also like to point out that I had had to clean cat excrement off our terrace and also witnessed their large family dog cooling off in the pool. I, myself have a dog but I would never want to swim with it in a pool. When I said it appeared to be clean this was clearly not the case. *********** contacted the accommodation and they obviously said they didn't have bedbugs. That was that then. Clearly the Dr was wrong. We are in the process of trying to get confirmation from the Dr that this was the case. Incidentally one of my blisters was so bad it had to be popped and once home the leg was actually infected. I ended up off work on antibiotics with a serious infection. *********** have told us to take it up with the accommodation and the accommodation are denying anything is wrong. Our holiday was ruined. Please don't stay at this accommodation even though it appears to be lovely - it's clearly not and please don't expect *********** to help if you have an issue."
