"It was the worst. I arrived late on check-in day, so I confirmed the check-in process before leaving. I had to enter the code at the shared entrance on the first floor, open the box, take out the key, and turn it, but there was no key. They said it must have been taken by a guest because it was a shared entrance. Other guests from other countries in the same room had the same situation... I was barely able to get in, following the other occupants. I went to the room and entered the same four-digit number to retrieve the key, but this time they said the number was incorrect. After several wrong keys, it started beeping. Eventually, two Japanese friends who live there arrived in a taxi in the middle of the night. I called them, but the staff member, being Chinese, had trouble understanding. They gave me a spare key, so one of us waited to make sure the door wouldn't close, and the other went out to retrieve it, but it didn't work at all. I was given a new room number, but it was completely different from the one I had originally received. I finally checked in at almost midnight!!! I dialed the number and told them the key to the shared entrance would be in the mailbox, but it wouldn't open again. I left early the next day and asked them to put the key in. When I called around 4:00 the next day after work, they said they'd put it in today. So, did I have to wait in the shared entrance the whole time for someone to come? The sink wouldn't drain, and the bathroom smelled bad, whether it was the sink or the bathtub. I'm leaving a long review because I never want to stay here again."

"Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, and apparently you have to call and inquire directly if you want to secure a spot. I checked the "parking needed" option in the additional items on Trip.com, but that alone wasn't enough to get a reservation. However, there's a coin-operated parking lot nearby, so I used that and it wasn't a problem. It's great that it's cheap to stay there since I only needed a place to sleep!"

"As always, APA hotels are very affordable and well-located. This particular APA stood out with an extremely extravagant lobby—honestly the best I’ve ever seen at any APA property. The spa facilities were also nice. However, my room wasn’t as clean as expected. I noticed stains on both the bedsheet and the curtains, which was disappointing. Also, the front desk wasn’t flexible when I requested a 2:30 PM check-in (I understand the standard time is 3 PM, but a little flexibility would have been appreciated). Overall, great public areas and value!"

"Location is great, few minutes walk to JR and subway station, and airport limousine bus stop too. There are lots of restaurants, small shops, big shopping center nearby. What makes it even better is the huge park where you can see Sakura in Spring and Red leaves in Autumn. Kichijoji is an alternative to Central Tokyo where you get less touristy stuff and more local vibe. Yet, only 1 hour from Haneda airport, 30 mins to Shinjuku and Shibuya. You can even explore more to the west too. Things are cheaper here. The hotel is decent and reasonably priced. Breakfast with great variety. I'd say a nice choice with good value for money."

"A very beautiful hotel with a unique design. The breakfast was sandwiches, which was quite healthy, but the variety could be improved. The parking lot is large and has charging stations. It's a shame there's no hot spring."

"The location was fantastic, right near the station! There's a SEIYU supermarket as soon as you get off at Tokorozawa Station, which is very convenient. The staff at the front desk were very polite during check-in, the room was clean, and while there were bath towels and face towels, I think hand towels would have been even better. At breakfast the next day, they kindly showed me how to serve the rice, and I was able to enjoy a delicious meal. This is definitely a hotel I'd like to stay at again."
