"The reception was fairly average. The room wasn't fully finished and had some architectural inconsistencies. Beach access through the hotel was closed during both of our stays (before and after our trip to Santa Antão Island). The staff were friendly and helpful but not yet fully settled in. The room had a sink in the bedroom; strange and not very pleasant (so much for privacy)."

We all enjoyed staying here with Cape Verdean art and character - and all the comforts! Really convenient for going into Mindelo centre (Mercado Municipal, restaurants and shops) and to Laginha beach. Enjoyed time on the roof terrace. And breakfast in the garden was delicious and a beautiful start to the day. Everywhere spotlessly clean too. Would have loved to stay longer."
