"On the second night of our stay, right before bed, we noticed a few mosquitoes. We initially thought it was just one or two, but then we looked at the ceiling and saw them everywhere – many weren't even mosquitoes, probably over 30 in total. We called the front desk at 1 AM, and they seemed quite dismissive, not even coming to check the room. After two calls, the hotel suggested we switch rooms. To our dismay, the new room also had a lot of mosquitoes. Only after strongly insisting did they find a can of insect repellent. After half an hour of spraying, the duvet and floor were covered in dead mosquitoes and other flying insects. We asked if they could change the sheets and pillowcases, but that was a whole other story – there was no housekeeping staff available, and even though the security guard was diligent, he wasn't trained for housekeeping duties. I honestly recommend installing mosquito screens; it's astonishing to have so many flying insects and mosquitoes on the 23rd floor."

"Exceptional service always shines through! I was heading to Tangjiahe to see wildlife, and Mianyang was the most convenient transfer point. I wanted a hotel near the station. I hadn't heard of Baden Hotel before, but seeing its 4.8 rating on Ctrip and the affordable price, I figured it wouldn't be too bad – so I booked it! From the station, it's about an 8-minute walk if you turn left and keep going. The Shenzhou Car Rental pickup point was also conveniently located along the way! Check-in was very efficient, and my pre-requested non-smoking and quiet room preferences were both met. The room even had a pillow menu and silent earplugs, which was a very thoughtful touch. The carpet in the guest corridor was new and clean; I asked and found out it had only been replaced a few months ago. Before dinner, the front desk recommended Yang Feichang Chinese Restaurant nearby. On my way out, I met a concierge staff member, who was dressed impeccably and behaved courteously, and helpfully gave me directions. Breakfast was abundant, and the bakery items were particularly outstanding – expertly made. They even had a few types of sourdough bread and I spotted honeycomb honey, which you usually only occasionally see at five-star hotels. Even more surprising, after I ordered rice noodles at the live cooking station, a restaurant employee proactively offered to bring it to my table. Their attitude was warm and friendly. This level of service far surpasses many five-star hotels in bigger cities! When checking out, I accidentally left a bag of fruit in the room. Just two minutes after leaving the hotel, I received a call from housekeeping, saying they would bring it down to me immediately. Warm, professional, efficient, and excellent value for money. The 4.8 rating is well-deserved! Highly recommended!"

"Staying in Mianyang, I chose the Hampton by Hilton Fucheng for my entire trip, and I liked it more and more with each passing day. What I was most satisfied with was the air conditioning. When traveling for business in the summer, I always dread hotels with weak AC, but this place had excellent temperature control. The room maintained a comfortable temperature throughout my stay and was very quiet, so my work and rest at night were never disturbed. The Mianyang rice noodles for breakfast were my daily motivation to wake up. The broth was rich and flavorful, the toppings were plentiful, and they were generous with the beef. A bowl of those noodles really perked me up. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room, which is very convenient for longer stays. Highly recommend!"

From the moment I met her, she was quick to respond to any needs, treated everyone with gentle courtesy, and her meticulous service made me feel exceptionally comfortable. Now, about the ambiance on the 23rd floor – the staircase design is uniquely elegant and sophisticated. You can take fantastic photos just by standing anywhere near it. The environment is refined, and the excellent views combined with the thoughtful service made my stay far exceed expectations. It's definitely a place worth revisiting repeatedly."

The service here especially made me feel at home. The hotel mate Xiao Wang at the front desk took the initiative to upgrade my room, the concierge Master Xie actively helped with my luggage, and the room attendant Yang Chunrong brought free fruit and tremella soup for midnight snacks. All the details were touching, and I would like to give them a thumbs up!"

"Highly recommend the Sheraton Mianyang! If you're looking to relax and unwind at Xianhai Lake, you won't be disappointed with this hotel. Built right by the lake, the environment is serene, and the air is incredibly refreshing. Parking is very convenient for those driving, with electric vehicle charging stations available, so self-driving tourists have nothing to worry about. The lake view room we booked offered an absolutely stunning vista. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows combined with the balcony made for a truly therapeutic experience just sitting and enjoying the lake scenery. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was surprisingly good, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and soaking in the large round bathtub while enjoying the view added a wonderful ambiance. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a gym available at all times, plus a kids' club and a pet park, making it suitable for solo travelers, friends gathering, or family trips. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, and you absolutely must try the authentic Mianyang rice noodles – they're full of local flavor. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making the check-in process efficient, and the housekeeping and security personnel were also very friendly. With excellent hardware, environment, and service, this is undoubtedly the top choice for a Mianyang getaway. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xianhai Lake! A special shout-out to Cherry."

"A stay beyond expectations, the room is well lit, the space is spacious and not depressing, the soft decoration is clean and refreshing, and the infrastructure is well used. The service staff is warm and polite, the problem can be solved in time, the price is affordable, the stay is relaxed and safe, it is worth buying back. Every time I go to Mianyang, I basically live here. This time the next room has been playing cards. It is noisy. Fortunately, the front desk went upstairs to communicate in time. I like 👍."

"Celebrity Youngsun Hotel is a smaller sister hotel attached to the more premium Xinhua Hotel. Xinhua Hotel appears to be the main business while Celebrity Youngsun is the cheaper stay located in an inconvenient to access annexe building quite a walk away from the reception. Further, the annexe building itself has narrow stairs and corridors, no elevators provided (really troublesome if you have luggage) and the corridors and stairs are poorly lit and rather dark and a bit spooky for the faint of heart. Location thus gets a low score as the only plus point is that it is close to several bus stops and not too far from the Yuewang Tower. Amenities are decent and free breakfast is included in the stay with a decent spread provided. The hotel also has a rather popular restaurant, but as there was an event going on, did not have a chance to dine there."

"This hot spring resort has been a part of our family's growth for a full decade now. It's no longer just a place to stay; it feels more like a second home we return to every year. From my child's early toddler years to now having our second little one, we've brought the kids here to enjoy the hot springs during almost every holiday over the past ten years. We've witnessed the hotel's continuous dedication to maintenance and upgrades, ensuring the experience only gets better. Hygiene has always been exceptionally reassuring. The rooms are spotless every time we check in, the bedding is soft and dry, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is excellent. The public hot spring pools are regularly drained, cleaned, and refilled daily, with clear and warm water that leaves you feeling completely relaxed. Even for kids with sensitive skin, there's no redness or discomfort after soaking. The dedicated children's splash pool has perfectly controlled water temperatures, equipped with a small slide and water features. Lifeguards are on duty at all times by the pool, giving parents complete peace of mind. The kids always play there for an entire afternoon and don't want to leave. The service team is incredibly warm and attentive. Ms. Tan Xiuying at the front desk is friendly and familiar, always proactively asking about our children's preferences and recommending suitable room types. The hotel's amenities, like the kids' playground and parent-child craft activities, are plentiful. When the kids are tired from playing, there are mild-flavored children's meals available, made with fresh, palatable ingredients that are perfectly suited for young appetites. Having visited countless times over the past decade, and having tried many similar hot spring hotels in the area, we always come back to this one. Its value for money, family-friendliness, and hot spring quality are all irreplaceable. Bringing our children back here every year and watching them laugh and play in the hot spring pools is the most healing parent-child time. I genuinely recommend this hotel to all families with kids; we'll definitely keep coming back! And thanks to the enthusiastic service of Ms. Tan Xiuying, it brings back so many fond memories. I definitely want to give a shout-out to Ms. Tan Xiuying! I also wish the hotel continued success!"

"This is the first I stayed here after it’s new renovation. I will not recommend this hotel. Air conditioning is totally stop functioning starting October because the weather was getting cooler . So we have to open windows and electric fan for fresh air and get cooler. The hotel is located at most busiest traffic conjunction. So it is very noisy and warm in our room. Smoking everywhere. In addition, the breakfast is disappointing. Coffee machine was broken down, here go instant nestle coffee. The black marble floor is very sticky in the restaurant, it seems it has never been cleaned. Sorry, I won’t come again."
