"This was my second trip here with my husband. The girl at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, I regret not remembering her name (that just shows my age lol) The room was so clean. The lake is just out your back door with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view or sit by the crackling fire in the evening. We intend to come back again to stay"

"The resort and hotel exceeded my expectations. Helpful, patient, and friendly front desk staff when an issue came up (which was my fault). Manager was also a great help and willing to do whatever was necessary to make the stay smooth. The rooms were large and very nice and a pleasure to stay in. I really don’t understand how anyone could say it’s run down? I travel a lot and have a lot of hotels to compare against, and the room was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the slopes which stayed open despite the less than favorable weather conditions handed out by Mother Nature that week (great job to the mountain operations for keeping the trails open!). Ski patrol were very friendly and helpful. I will be back as soon as I can be!!!"
