"We spent 15 days at the Saly Hotel (via Tui Belgium). Typical room, clean and functional (very good bedding, choice of pillow possible via reception). Beautiful beach and comfortable deckchairs. As for the restaurant, we preferred to have our meals on the Filaos side (more choice and better view). The buffets are quite varied and good. The service is perfect! Thanks to Abdoulaye, Adrien, Balla and El Hadji. Really a great team, we took great care of you. Before our departure we contacted "Sénégal Excursions" in order to plan our excursions in advance. We were delighted! Very good value for money, very good program (for more information see my comment on them on TripAdvasor). It is also very pleasant to leave the hotel and immediately be in "town". The only downside (for which the hotel is not responsible) is that Saly is quite lively at night, especially on weekends (nightclubs open until 6 a.m.), if your bungalow on the roof of thatch is near the street, you may be disturbed. We were at number 60 and to overcome this inconvenience we put the air conditioning on ventilation at night as well as soft relaxation music. If you are sensitive to noise, it is better to take earplugs or ask for a quiet room (we did not ask to change rooms because it was bearable)."

"It’s a nice guesthouse with sea view rooms. The outside area with a small swimming pool is pleasant. The staff are nice and the food is reasonably priced and good. Unfortunately the location is a bit far from Mbour and Saly and the beachfront is very dirty. The Wi-Fi is rather weak. However if you want to escape from it all, it’s a good place."

"Excellent stay at the Neptune hotel! Hotel on a human scale, very well maintained with staff of remarkable quality. We had a wonderful week with two children aged 4 and 6. Beautiful swimming pool with a section suitable for young swimmers. Diverse meals with quality products for lunch and dinner (accompanied every evening by an orchestra/musicians). The +'s: Everything with a special + for the kindness and good humor of all the staff (from reception to the restaurant via the shop) The -': Nothing Point of improvement: a beach bag to provide in the rooms to go to the beach or swimming pool (to put towels etc.)"
