The Paradise Dambulla ★★★★★
"This hotel is just beautiful. Paradise in the trees. A great clean pool. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Food changed daily and plenty to pick from. Rooms clean, comfy and air conditioning brilliant. Will miss it. Absolutely would love to return and recommend 100%."
Heritance Kandalama ★★★★★
"On the top of the forest!"
EKHO Sigiriya - 700 meters to Sigiriya Rock ★★★★
"Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and the room was a little damp, but overall it was okay. Cleanliness: The room was fairly clean, but the floor drain had a slight odor. Environment: Located at the foot of Lion Rock, the location is excellent, with several good restaurants nearby, but it's a bit noisy along the street. Other: Dinner was at the restaurant next door. The hotel breakfast was average, with limited choices."
Kassapa Lion's Rock ★★★★
"Very beautiful and welcoming resort. We had a really nice stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The service was excellent from start, and everyone was very welcoming and attentive. A special thank to Saji, who provided great service throughout our visit."
Sigiriya Village ★★★★★
"It has a colonial feel and is a bit dated. But the location is fantastic, practically in the middle of a forest. There are many monkeys and other animals roaming around. Rooms are large. Food quality is on par for Sri Lanka. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable of attractions and helpfull arranging tours and taxis."
Hotel Sigiriya ★★★★
"Good hotel with excellent service! We stayed for a couple of days. The view from the pool is amazing! 🔥"
Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select ★★★
"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location among rice fields. Peacocks and the sounds of the jungle. If you love nature and solitude, this is perfect! Just remember that there's no "civilization" right next door. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The reception is very warm. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thanks to all the hotel staff. Most importantly for those traveling by car, the road Google defaults to on the lake side is bad, full of potholes; we barely made it. The road on the other side, while rough, is much better. I've attached a map in the photo."
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure ★★★★★
"Facilities: New Service: Very friendly Meals: Delicious"
Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection ★★★★★
"Beautiful hotel in Sigiriya, view over the Lion Rock from the pool which is gorgeous as well, hotel is well located close to Dambulla temple, Minneriya Park for elephant watching,… Good experiences at the restaurant with the buffet at night, lunch and cocktails were fine too. Hotel staff is kind and helpful. Room (two floors) was comfortable and clean, a bathtub and shower room were both available. Not a big deal but the kid’s club needs a serious cleaning and upgrade (does not match the hotel standing at all). Positive note not well enough advertized: the free pottery experience for kids at the next-door hotel (walking distance)"

Amaya Lake Dambulla
"Perfect food, felt like being deep in the jungle."
Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve
"Stayed here for three nights on a trip around Sri Lanka. Very interesting place, impeccable service. Lakshan looked after us and was excellent - very helpful and tended to magically pop up every time we needed something."
SigiriyaJungles Resort & Spa
"The spa here is wonderful. Very calming place. Erandi did a full body massage, Soddartha (1st time for me) plus a face nave. She was very good at her skills. Smooth strokes and good pressure."
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Oak Ray Elephant Lake
"We stayed for one night. The hotel is nice, the room is big and clean. The pool was nice but in our case it was very windy and it's surrounded by trees so the water had a lot of leaves. But we still decided to go in. The lobby had a free table tennis plate and everyone was very friendly. For our feeling the food (dinner/breakfast) was expensive as there are not much options around but just a few hundred meters away is a fantastic Sri Lankan restaurant called Mr. Monkey."
Pelwehera Village Resort
"Lovely stay for two nights while exploring the historical sites i and around Dambulla. Was treated really nice by Gamini and his crew: Eardly, Dool and Bagya."
Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka
"An incredibly peaceful retreat surrounded by nature perfect if you're looking to unwind and relax. The pool area was a highlight, with sweeping mountain views overlooking the open, golden-brown paddy fields. Everything from the rooms to the general amenities was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway."

Sinhagiri Villa
"Our family of 6 stayed in the Sinhagiri villa for 3 nights. Everything was perfect. A beautiful view, a nice clean pool, close to Lion Rock and really good food. The family running the hotel went above and beyond to help us with transportation and sightseeing. We went to Minneriya national park arrange through the hotel and it was an absolute incredible experience. If you are looking for a nice restaurant, try out the Green Hut, the food is excellent and the home made mango juice is addictive. It is made from their own mango plantage."
Amaara Forest Hotel Sigiriya
"Beautiful entrance and outdoor reception. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and spacious room. Working safe and large bathroom, ac working effectively. Restaurant good and bar area good. Some staff with little English but others help when necessary. The pool is a basic rectangle but clean and an infinity pool looking at the forest. Towels available and subbed, never busy when we used it. Swing too and treetop restaurant available on request. We saw wildlife around but not scarily; a water monitor lizard on the grass by pool and monkey by reception 🫶🏼. There were other facilities that we didn’t make use of and the only suggestion is more information on what is available. A great location to stay if you plan on seeing Sigiriya’s Lion Rock, Minneriya Elephant Safaris, Habarana cultural centre or a Village Tour."
Sundaras Family Suites
"This hotel has good facilities, like good pool bar, restaurant with a tropical resort feeling. We have room with 2 king beds and it is good enough width for 2 adults and 2 kids. and also keeping sanitary. Staff gave the good hospitality and providing good services in restaurant. Just one concerning is VISA card cannot work well in Dambulla area."
Amba Yaalu - Thema Collection "The First Women-LED Hotel in Sri Lanka"
"Excellent hotel, delicious food, very pleasant staff. We made a wonderful cake for my son. I'll definitely be back."
Green Senz - Tourist Board Approved Hotel & Hostel - Sigiriya
"We had a lovely stay here on Boxing Day and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff and the owner were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and definitely a highlight of our stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel, especially since it’s close to great attractions like the iconic Sigiriya Rock and offers lovely village tour experiences nearby. Would happily stay again!"
Yashi's Place Sigiriya
"Noce homestay and lovely people"
Serenity Sigiri Resort
"The owner was incredibly kind. He took me on a safari, where I saw so many wild animals. He also helped with transportation to and from Sigiriya Rock. The location is very close to Sigiriya Rock, which made it convenient for me to get up early the next day to climb it. His daughter was also adorable; after we went to the lake, she specially came over to take me back to my dorm. It was a very heartwarming experience."
