"This place is the “Hilton of the Wairarapa”! We just stayed three nights at the Hilton and one at Solway on the way home. I have no complaints about the Copthorne but a few about the previous! (Albeit minor)  A special mention goes to Dylan in the restaurant. He was SUPER friendly and helpful and he was nonstop working! This boy needs a pay rise!"

"A really simple but nice hotel. The furniture and furnishings are a bit dated, but clean. Unfortunately, you can't watch TV from the bed, and the armchairs in front of the TV aren't very comfortable. That could be improved. The whirlpool in the room is definitely something special and worked perfectly."

"Spent our other 2 nights here. Lovely warm welcome. Very spacious and well appointed rooms. Handy to a huge range of dining options. Very comfortable bed and very well equipped kitchen. Off road parking allocated to each unit. Cannot fault this place."

"Good place to stay. Visited for one night with my mum. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our room. The room itself was spacious and fairly clean. A couple of spots could do with a bit better dusting. The duvets and pillows are due for an upgrade, but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was a tad small but ok. Our bathroom light wasn’t working (forgot to mention). Good basic amenities with everything you need for a short stay. Would love to see the place updated as had lots of potential!"
