We arrived a bit early for Check In however we could enjoy a refreshing drink a the Pool side whilst waiting for our Tent to be ready for us. Once at our Tent we could watch the Oryx grazing on the dunes nearby. The Ostriches also strolled along the dunes. The Camp2Go tents offer you everything you need for a wonderful time out in Nature. "Comfortable and well-organised accomodation with helpful friendly staff. Rooms near the water hole are best as lots of wildlife there including giraffes very close. Sun downer drive was great and we also found the walk with San people very interesting. Kalahari area is stunning and was the perfect first destination on leaving Windhoek. The outdoor dining area is very atmospheric at night and the buffet meal very good with the best vegetarian selection we had in our three week trip."

"I fell in love with this place. So much character. Lovely, spacious rooms, beautiful communal areas/bar .... everything was perfect. The highlight was dining outside on the terrace by the pool under the Namibian stars with giraffes, oryxes and other wildlife drinking from the waterhole very close by. It just blew me away. We did the sundowner game drive and saw meercats (mother and baby), bat eared fox, giraffes, oryxes, ostriches and many other birds and animals, and then had cocktails/drinks in the most beautiful location. The sand is so red!!! I loved it!!!"

"The Kalahari is a place of longing for many and what a great way to experience it here - in a tent! This lodge is rather big, yet it feels like a oasis - quite a big oasis, I might add. The tents, however, a league of their own. This is where we felt the isolation and remoteness we associated with the Kalahari. The tents were an exhilarating change to the other accommodation we had in Namibia. They were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Who needs WiFi, if you can listen to the dessert birds at night, while giraffes and ostriches pass by the tent in the evenings. Star gazing from the tent was amazing and, to be honest, I am pretty proud of my milky way photo! The lodge itself was modern and appealing. Good cuisine, nice staff. 2 swimming pool and a playground for the kids. The sundowner game drive was excellent, and the only time and place in Namibia that we saw Marabou storks and owls."

"As a family of 5 adults, as part of a 9-day Namibia self-drive, we stayed the last night at this wonderful guesthouse. Though arrival was late at night, we were warmly welcomed by the most wonderful owner, Stefanie. The 3 rooms booked were very comfortable and spacious. There a a few good options for dinner locally including the Tahiti restaurant. We decided to eat the American-style restaurant at the Shell garage ( across the main road), food and service was great. Breakfast was excellent. Stefanie, I can only describe as angelic, really goes out of her way to accommodate the guests needs. If we are lucky to return to Namibia, we will definitely rebook- without doubt."

"Situated in the sand hills on the edge of the Kalahari the location of the lodge is perfect. The individual chalets are spaced across the sand around the reception and dining lodge. The lodge overlooks a small waterhole and feeding station for animals and there are generally some about. Game drives are available and quite good but the number and variety of animals is limited as you would expect in the desert. Meals are provided and are excellent with an option for game at dinner. Staff are excellent, welcoming and efficient. The thatched rooms are spacious and very quiet complete with air conditioning and the beds are comfortable."

"We had the best time. The rooms were lovely, we stayed in one near reception. They were spacious and quiet. The food was delicious. We did both the scenic game drive and the cheetah experience and loved them both. The former gave such a good overview of the area and animals within it. The pool area was lovely and clean and enjoyed watching the animals, especially the mongoose and meerkat and kudu."

"We stayed here for just one night. The peace and quiet here is amazing, a real get away from the world and the night time view of the milky way spectacular. The rooms are quite large with lovely verandahs to sit and watch any comings and goings of animals. The room furniture is tired as was the internal bathroom area. There is an outside shower, but it was too cold for us to use it. Each room is close to the pool. Wifi is only available in the lounge / common areas. The food is eaten outside, unless it's raining. The food was enjoyable. One of our party was gluten free and they catered very well for her needs. We did a sundowner game drive which was amazing and saw lots of different animals."
