"We have stayed at Camp2go properties on a number of occasions. This one needs some attention to detail by management. The braai grid and tongs were filthy when we arrived, the kettle had no whistle lid and the shower water didn't heat up permanently. It got warm, then cold, then warm again. Not pleasant on a winter morning. And then we woke up to a flat tyre!! Thanks to the rocky road from the gate"

"We stayed here for just one night. The peace and quiet here is amazing, a real get away from the world and the night time view of the milky way spectacular. The rooms are quite large with lovely verandahs to sit and watch any comings and goings of animals. The room furniture is tired as was the internal bathroom area. There is an outside shower, but it was too cold for us to use it. Each room is close to the pool. Wifi is only available in the lounge / common areas. The food is eaten outside, unless it's raining. The food was enjoyable. One of our party was gluten free and they catered very well for her needs. We did a sundowner game drive which was amazing and saw lots of different animals."

"We arrived at the Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge at around 18h00 the evening of the 16 January. We were greeted by one of the friendly Staff Members with a drink and refreshing cold face cloth. After check in we were shown our room. Sebastian, if I remember correctly helped us with our luggage. We had a spectacular view over the Dunes with the Camelthorn Trees. After a refreshing swim, it was time for Dinner. Dinner was served under the Stars.We enjoyed the complementary Bottle of Champagne with our meal whilst enjoying the view of the sky above. The 4 brightest Planets all visible at the same time, enjoying the beautiful evening weather. After a good night's sleep, we started our day with a refreshing swim an a hearty Breakfast upstairs in the Boma. On our way out, we were greeted by a couple of Giraffes that were leisurely grazing along the Edges of the Pan in the Reserve. Namibia has so many hidden Gems. We will certainly be back."
