"Room smelled like cigarettes. We did not request a handicapp room but was given to us without asking. There was only 1 kleenex in the box. Toilet paper was not filled. Sheets had stains on them. Shower curtain has mold on top of curtain."

"I stay at many hotels for work and leisure and I’ve never had a worse front desk experience than at the Residence Inn Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes. When I was checking in, Artem was at the front with another woman. He started the process and I asked questions about the property and elite upgrade availability. The two of them started to stare at the screen and talk in another language in front of me! This action told me right away that their staff do not know hospitality, are very poorly trained or are not held accountable for their actions. The unprofessional discussion they had in another language made me feel like I wasn’t even there. I am still shocked at how badly this action left me feeling about Marriott and especially the Residence Inn Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes."
