"I made a special trip back to Maoming to experience this newly opened hotel. The hotel is beautiful; every corner is a unique Lingnan-style photo opportunity. I especially loved the hotel garden; it was so relaxing to stroll around in. Polly, the receptionist, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She thoughtfully gave the children some cookies and even personally escorted us to the elevator, explaining the hotel's various facilities. Shirley, the butler, learned that our high-speed train departed after 2 PM and proactively arranged a late check-out for us until 1 PM. A special thank you to Polly and Shirley for their service; it made me feel right at home. My only minor suggestion is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited; perhaps they could improve it."

Hailing a ride is a challenge Not much to do in rainy season so really for hard core hot spring fans or people wanting a peaceful get-away to do nothing Transfer to high-speed rail station only twice a day on a little tired old van so don’t expect a Sheraton worthy experience Staff are helpful and friendly though some can do with more training. Management is a bit too hands off and perhaps need to step up the game a bit on guest experience overall Pockets of surprises such as the night show on the lake and morning tai chi lesson on the hill. Food very average with 50% of the food served at buffet dinner being the same as breakfast. Can consider introducing more local specialties and educate guests about them"

"It was my first time to bring my family to Dianbai. When choosing a hotel, I would always choose a newer one. So I searched for this hotel as soon as I entered Dianbai. Because I was bringing my pet, I called the front desk in advance to ask if there was an underground parking lot and whether I could bring pets. They replied that it was OK, so I booked two rooms. When I arrived at the hotel, the beautiful girls at the front desk were very nice. I also added the hotel WeChat service, and they almost answered all my questions. The room was also very good, which was the style I liked. For dinner, I went to Xingji Dianbai Duck Congee recommended by the hotel. It was delicious. If I have the chance to go to Dianbai, I will choose this hotel to stay."

"The hotel opened this year as a new homestay accommodation, with parking and walking downstairs to the beach. The public beach with lifeguards at the first beach is also a short walk away. The lobby has a small garden and coffee maker. Coffee beans are freshly ground and brewed. Guests can enjoy free coffee while waiting for check-in. This time I stayed in the side sea view room, facing the large swimming pool of the hotel on the side, with a wide view and pleasant views. The design style of the room is simple, but the leisure space is limited, and there is no enough area for guests to sit down and talk, only suitable for bed rest. The daily necessities in the room are fully equipped to meet basic needs. The only downside is that the room socket is not equipped with a USB interface, and the self-contained charger cannot be used because the adapter plug is not carried, which brings some inconvenience."

"First, some positive impressions: the room was relatively large, though the view was just average. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was acceptable. There was also a small lounge area with tea sets and complimentary tea, which was nice. However, for a so-called five-star hotel, many aspects fell far short of expectations. Firstly, when the car arrived at the hotel entrance, no one offered to help with luggage. Even though the trunk was open, the doorman stood by the door indifferently. There were no trash cans in the lobby or near the entrance. Trash left by the previous guest on the coffee table and sofa in the lobby wasn't promptly cleaned up. Secondly, regarding the facilities, the toilet flushing system in the room was either clogged, with water either constantly flowing or failing to flush at all. Very embarrassing. The sink drain was leaking. While washing things in the sink, my feet got wet, and upon closer inspection, the sink was covered in soap suds—the drain pipe was leaking. It was late at night, and it wasn't convenient to call for repairs. The breakfast had a decent variety, but some food was spoiled or not properly cleaned. The fish was bitter. The order included what was supposed to be two car pick-up services and two executive lounge visits, but these did not actually happen."

"The hotel is too old, yet it still carries the Wyndham brand. Facilities: The showerhead looks like it hasn't been changed in a decade, the bathtub leaks and can't hold water, the door is hard to open, and the bathroom is tiny! Service was terrible. Even the manager, who claimed to resolve issues, essentially implied: either wait or get a refund. With my whole family, we booked three rooms, waited from 1 PM to past 4 PM for just one room to be cleaned. There was only one cleaning lady. Waiting three hours only to be told to get a refund is simply unacceptable! And that water park, advertised with an infinity pool? There's none at all. Instead, there's a messy patch of weeds in front, and the water is filthy! Clearly, no one cleans it. Parking is also unmanaged; cars are parked all over the lawn. The hygiene is also neglected; after cleaning, there were still cigarette packs in the room. This Wyndham must be the worst in the whole country, right? It's like it's barely functioning. I paid 927 yuan for one night, with no service, no environment, no decent hardware. The only decent things were the fine sand on the beach and the clear water, which honestly isn't even the hotel's doing~ I truly paid money for a miserable experience! I hope they improve quickly!"
