Hotel Dolomiti ★★★
Hotel Querceto Wellness & Spa by Double Hospitality ★★★★
"We loved it here! Service could not be faulted - the whole team were fantastic and very accommodating to our requests. Our room was excellent. Views were just incredible - an Aperol Spritz at sunset overlooking Lake Garda is difficult to beat! Would love to come back!"
Hotel Malcesine ★★★
"Though we booked late, we were lucky to get a room with a balcony right over the lake. Our room was small but we travel light and it served us well. And we loved the view of the lake while lying in bed or when sitting on the balcony. Very clean room in a beautiful building and in the best location."
Club Hotel Olivi - Tennis Center ★★★
"It's right by the lake, but it's not very convenient to get there without a car. The environment is nice, and the rooms are okay."
Hotel Modena Old Town ★★
"the location is absolutely perfect! - in the heart of the historical center, it allowed easy access to all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants, making our exploration of the city incredibly convenient. The receptionist Lucca was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He provided great recommendations for local sights and dining options. I also want to highlight the lovely lady - Doina at breakfast. She was not only attentive but also created a warm atmosphere that made our mornings delightful. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes, and her cheerful nature made it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay in the city. Thank you for a memorable visit!"
Hotel Vega ★★★
"I thought I'd already left a review but it appears not, anyway we are due to visit again in May so I'd better get to it. This hotel is perfectly located, literally just one minute walk and you're in town. So convenient. Yet it is also beautifully quiet and extremely well run. The hotel is beautiful, modern and absolutely spotlessly clean. Rooms are lovely (try a side room - if like me - you don't love full sun but enjoy a view). The views are stunning and there are plenty of places to sit and admire the lake views, and there's a large, pretty and peaceful garden. Sitting there, watching the boats on the lake, the ducks relaxing on the lakeside, I defy anyone not to be relaxed and happy. It was also VERY hot last year, so absolute bliss to be able to pop back to our room and cool down with a bit of fabulous aircon! Breakfast is perfect, plenty of selection and eggs delivered to your table just the way you want them. Proper tea with a teapot! What a way to start your day, sitting watching Lake Garda in all it's beauty, in a glorious light filled room. I have seen a few undeserved incredibly petty reviews about the tables, wherever you sit you will have great views. No better more enjoyable start to a day. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Marco works so hard and it shows in his delightful hotel, and utmost respect to him for that. It's wonderful. He's always around if you have a problem (we had none I hasten to add) and he enjoys a chat, we found him a delight and can't wait to return. Proper hospitality! We have such happy memories of our first stay. To sum up: spotless hotel, amazing views, perfect location, lovely people and of course you will be well looked after during your stay. All the stars for Marco and his team!!!"
Hotel Garni Selene ★★
Hotel Europa ★★★★
Hotel Meridiana ★★★
"Booked this hotel after reading reviews and wasn't disappointed. Ideally placed for walking everywhere in Malcesine. We stayed in room 304 (Comfort top view) and the view was spectacular, both from the bedroom and bathroom. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fabulous - they thought of everything. The hosts and staff were all friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay, were sad to leave, and would stay here again Many thanks for looking after us from Mr & Mrs Wilkinson-Sword "

Ambienthotel PrimaLuna 3S
"Our 4th visit to PrimaLuna & thoroughly enjoyed again. The unusual style may not be to every body’s liking, but when you get used to it the quirkiness is quite unique, industrial chic. The staff are friendly & helpful & restaurant & food are excellent quality & choice. The crowning glory is the view either from the room or shared spaces which cannot be bettered."
Albergo San Remo
"I stayed one night in this hotel, back from another hotel; we wanted a hotel front of the lake and the desire was certainly satisfied. The hotel is small but clean, the rooms are large, the bidet is missing in the bathroom. We are comfortable with front beach and have a restaurant and pizzeria."
Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only
"This is without doubt the best hotel we have stayed at. Our room was utterly beautiful with a lounge, bedroom & two bathrooms. It also had a huge glassed in balcony overlooking the bay which was surrounded by mountains & full of little boats. Apart from the lovely pool area there was also a most beautiful garden, full of trees, shrubs and flowers with sunbeds dotted about throughout and a gate leading to the lake. Being a smallish hotel (only 30 rooms) it was very easy to get to know the staff, all of whom were superb. The reception staff were so friendly and efficient and the restaurant staff, particularly, Antonio and Octavian were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. I had a stomach upset for a couple of days and they all asked if there was anything they could do or did I need medicine or a doctor. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was excellent. It is a good 20-25 minutes walk into the centre of Malcesine but it is a lovely walk all along the lakeside. If you are even thinking of this hotel do go, you will not regret it."
Albergo Villa Edera
Hotel Capri
Hotel Stella Alpina
"The hotel is in a central position close to the lake and ferries. The staff and food are excelent. Rooms kept clean and tidy. Superb menu in their attached restaurant. Would come again with out hesitation. Idealy situated for trips on the lake or to the mountains. "
Eco Hotel Ariston
"Excellent breakfast buffet with gluten-free options. Beautiful garden for relaxation. Extra thanks to friendly staff☺️ Good location near the Monte Baldo gondol. Our room was in the bottom floor next to the reception thus it was a quite noisy and view only to the backyard."
Hotel Villa Orizzonte
"A very nice hotel with a great outdoor location. All very well maintained. Beautiful pool, small but fine rooms, best view of the Gardasee from the balcony. Breakfast is rich and good. The family-run hotel team is extremely friendly, hearty and premature. It was absolutely random and we'll be happy to come back "
Hotel Augusta
"Well located hotel just beside the entrance to the cable car. We booked a limited lake view room. Room 45 offered great lake views from the window and the balcony. Room very comfortable (bed a little hard). Safe located in wardrobe, mini fridge but no tea/coffee facility. Bathroom well equipped, toiletries and hairdryer available. Room cleaned daily with towels changed. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast buffet good with enough choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend."
Bellevue San Lorenzo (Adults Only)
"You can not fault the staff and service you get at this hotel. We stayed half board and the breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. The evening meals were excellent with a different 4 course meal every night with wonderful friendly service. Views are breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. Our room was not the best in the hotel. We had a small balcony which was above the restaurant area. It would have been lovely to have been able to sit out and enjoy the view on the balcony but we just did this from the bar area instead. We had a lovely time which was made better by the wonderful staff. "
Residence Alesi
"We felt very comfortable during our holiday; everything was wonderfully relaxed and unhurried. The breakfast was excellent, and the family is very friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and had a large balcony overlooking the lake towards Limone. Parking was available in the underground garage. We would have loved to extend our stay by two nights, but unfortunately, the room wasn't available for longer."
Hotel Sole Malcesine
"Excellent hotel in a beautiful location I’ve seen other people complaining but we’ve had a lovely time, food was great not your normal all inclusive hotel like you would get in holiday resorts but can’t complain about this hotel."
Hotel Casa Chincarini
"Spotlessly clean Family run hotel. Fantastic View. Very relaxed quiet area which was perfect but only few mins by car to the center. They just seemed to make that extra effort especially with breakfast but with everything really. Very enjoyable. Hope to return. Thank you. "
Albergo Aurora
Majestic Palace
"We stayed here mid June for 5 nights with our toddler daughter, and opted for all-inclusive. We thought the food was great for dinner and breakfast with different menu every day. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was quite dated. No wifi signal in our room but worked ok in communal area. The staff were all very friendly and they made our stay comfortable and memorable! Location was a bit far from town, but they run a regular shuttle bus for EUR 1 per person I believe. We had a rental car and it was free parking which was a bonus. Great facilities especially for children, strong nice selection of drinks and cocktails for all-in. I would love to go back!"
Hotel Diana
"We stayed at Hotel Diana in Malcesine to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and what an incredible choice it was. We booked the best suite they have, complete with a beautiful freestanding bath, rainfall shower and the most amazing views, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean, the service is exceptional, and the views quite simply unrivalled. The views are out of this world, and waking up to those views every morning honestly felt like we were still dreaming. It was the most incredible way to start each day and made our anniversary stay feel even more magical. With a view overlooking the very castle we were married in! The suite itself was gorgeous, and the round bed was a fantastic touch, both romantic and wonderfully comfortable. The freestanding bath was perfect for relaxing, and the rainfall shower was excellent too. Every little detail seemed to have been thought of. Housekeeping was superb, with everything kept immaculate throughout our stay. The receptionist was also incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful, and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. Breakfast deserves a special mention too. It was plentiful, fresh and constantly kept topped up. From a continental breakfast point of view, you really couldn’t ask for more, with plenty of choice available. If you fancied something cooked, you could also ask for fried eggs, which was a lovely extra. We genuinely cannot believe Hotel Diana is rated as a 3-star hotel. We have stayed in plenty of 4-star hotels that simply haven’t been a patch on this place. The quality, cleanliness, service, attention to detail and overall experience felt far beyond what we would expect from a 3-star hotel. The only thing worth mentioning for anyone with mobility problems is that the hotel is located slightly uphill, so there is a bit of a walk to reach it. For us, it was absolutely worth it, but it is something to bear in mind when booking. We also honestly cannot understand some of the reviews we have seen for this hotel. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in saying that this must be one of - if not the -best hotels in Malcesine. For a special occasion, we really could not have chosen anywhere better. Hotel Diana made our 20th anniversary truly unforgettable, and we will absolutely be back. ❤️"
