Beach Hotel du Lac Malcesine

"We had a perfect stay at Beach Hotel Du Lac, with our 7 month old. While there weren't lots of babies/kids at the hotel, the staff went out of their way to make us all feel welcome. While they were all incredibly friendly, we must give a particular shout out to Vasile and Greta in the restaurant and Michel on reception. The hotel is peacefully situated c.10-15 mins walk away from the centre of town, which is a lovely walk alongside the lake, while also a 5 min walk to a number of other restaurants and bars. You can be swimming in the lake in less than a minute from your room, and we loved making use of the pool as well. Our room was lovely, spacious and modern and with a great balcony/view. The breakfast was great, with lots of different options and in a beautiful setting opposite the lake. Overall, we could not recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Hotel Val di Monte is nothing short of extraordinary. Perched in the hills above Malcesine, it offers the most stunning panoramic views of Lake Garda – sunrise from the terrace is pure magic. The hotel itself is spotless, elegantly designed, and exudes warmth and tranquility. The staff goes above and beyond – welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh local ingredients and that unforgettable view. The pool area is a dream, surrounded by olive trees and silence. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of Italian paradise, this is the place. We left completely in love with everything about it. Grazie mille for an unforgettable stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Well located hotel just beside the entrance to the cable car. We booked a limited lake view room. Room 45 offered great lake views from the window and the balcony. Room very comfortable (bed a little hard). Safe located in wardrobe, mini fridge but no tea/coffee facility. Bathroom well equipped, toiletries and hairdryer available. Room cleaned daily with towels changed. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast buffet good with enough choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful hotel, with a stunning elevated lake view. I would highly recommend, food is truly amazing, Staff are so helpful, friendly, & professional. We used the courtesy bikes more than once, & explored the lake area. It enhance a wonderful weeks holiday, i would go back in a heartbeat.."

Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only

"This is without doubt the best hotel we have stayed at. Our room was utterly beautiful with a lounge, bedroom & two bathrooms. It also had a huge glassed in balcony overlooking the bay which was surrounded by mountains & full of little boats. Apart from the lovely pool area there was also a most beautiful garden, full of trees, shrubs and flowers with sunbeds dotted about throughout and a gate leading to the lake. Being a smallish hotel (only 30 rooms) it was very easy to get to know the staff, all of whom were superb. The reception staff were so friendly and efficient and the restaurant staff, particularly, Antonio and Octavian were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. I had a stomach upset for a couple of days and they all asked if there was anything they could do or did I need medicine or a doctor. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was excellent. It is a good 20-25 minutes walk into the centre of Malcesine but it is a lovely walk all along the lakeside. If you are even thinking of this hotel do go, you will not regret it."

"Had seen lots of great comments for this restaurant and since it was close to accommodation easy walk for us. Had really nice welcome and chose a Rose wine, very nice. I had sea food platter, beautiful fish loads of veg and salad, couldn’t eat it all, my wife had a pizza and said it was one of the best she had had. Right on water front well worth a visit, service also very good"

Hotel Villa Carmen

"A gem of a find situated along an uncrowded section of the picturesque mid-lake shore but within an easy lakefront walk of the bustling (somewhat touristy) and historic town of Malcesine. Comfortable, nicely updated rooms with fabulous views across Lake Garda. A highlight is the 100 metre stretch of private and nicely maintained lakefront reserve backed by a screening hedge of flowering jasmine with swimming off the little beaches an unexpected treat in unusually warm May weather. Friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts in Flo and David, an appealing bar terrace and the availability of parking all add to the appeal."
