Hotel Dolomiti ★★★
Hotel Querceto Wellness & Spa by Double Hospitality ★★★★
"Always good to be back in this Paradise! The view, the Spa facilities, the garden, all impeccable. This year we were particularly impressed by the food at dinner: delicious to say the least! Every dish was curated to the details, balanced flavors and great quality. it was the first time that we decided to have dinner every evening of our stay, heads up to the Chef! And excellent wines too! Thank you again to all the staff and the Manager Luca to make us feel at home, once again!"
Hotel Malcesine ★★★
"Very nice Hotel with a beautiful view of the sea😎👍🍀🤩"
Club Hotel Olivi - Tennis Center ★★★
"The room was smaller than expected, but very clean. The tennis court is a special feature, and there are restaurants and supermarkets within a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the lake. There is a small area beside the lake with the name of the hotel written on it, but there is no staff. I don't know if it is only for hotel guests."
Hotel Modena Old Town ★★
"We stayed here for 10 days in July in room 105. I had emailed the hotel before the stay and asked for a low floor and a quiet room. We had just that. We were late arriving due to flight delays so had instructions on how to let ourselves in with a lockbox which worked perfectly. Due to the late hour we had been left some snacks which were really appreciated. Room was very clean with adequate storage. Nice en-suite with shower. We had aircon and an overhead fan so easy to cool for sleeping. Cleaning everyday. Clean towels every other day. Spotless. Breakfast was very nice - fruit and cereals, boil your own eggs and cold meats, toast and croissants and jams. Coffee good. We did an early start one day for a trip to Verona and they kindly packed us a breakfast bag - same for our early departure home. Lovely hotel right in the middle of the port area. Great staff who are so friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend if you would like a quality good value stay in the heart of Malcesine"
Hotel Vega ★★★
"I thought I'd already left a review but it appears not, anyway we are due to visit again in May so I'd better get to it. This hotel is perfectly located, literally just one minute walk and you're in town. So convenient. Yet it is also beautifully quiet and extremely well run. The hotel is beautiful, modern and absolutely spotlessly clean. Rooms are lovely (try a side room - if like me - you don't love full sun but enjoy a view). The views are stunning and there are plenty of places to sit and admire the lake views, and there's a large, pretty and peaceful garden. Sitting there, watching the boats on the lake, the ducks relaxing on the lakeside, I defy anyone not to be relaxed and happy. It was also VERY hot last year, so absolute bliss to be able to pop back to our room and cool down with a bit of fabulous aircon! Breakfast is perfect, plenty of selection and eggs delivered to your table just the way you want them. Proper tea with a teapot! What a way to start your day, sitting watching Lake Garda in all it's beauty, in a glorious light filled room. I have seen a few undeserved incredibly petty reviews about the tables, wherever you sit you will have great views. No better more enjoyable start to a day. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Marco works so hard and it shows in his delightful hotel, and utmost respect to him for that. It's wonderful. He's always around if you have a problem (we had none I hasten to add) and he enjoys a chat, we found him a delight and can't wait to return. Proper hospitality! We have such happy memories of our first stay. To sum up: spotless hotel, amazing views, perfect location, lovely people and of course you will be well looked after during your stay. All the stars for Marco and his team!!!"
Hotel Garni Selene ★★
"Family owned who are super friendly. Intimate setting with beautiful views of Lake Garda. Peaceful and quiet. Large swimming pool overlooking the lake. Not far from villages to tour. The European style breakfast has many choices and staff very accommodating."
Hotel Europa ★★★★
Hotel Meridiana ★★★
"Great hotel, great location, best breakfast you will find in Malcesine. 5 min walk into town. We have been to Malcesine 8 times and this hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. Suoer clean, fresh, inviting & modern without loosing authenticity. Staff so friendly, always there to offer a smile! We were also impressed with snacks and food available througout the day but what really stood out, was the added bonus of a water dispenser for your use during your stay, along with 2 filled glass bottles in the room reducing the use of plastic etc. how many times do you go on holiday, get to your hotel or apartment and immediately think, ok let's go and get water.. really nice touch in our opinion. We will definitely be back. "

Ambienthotel PrimaLuna 3S
"Thanks to all of the staff at Ambient Prima Luna for going above and beyond for our family, especially Laura who organized our airport transfers to Milan. The restaurant staff were amazing as was the food. The decor in our lake front family suite was quirky and the view from the room breathtaking. This hotel should have 5 stars and I would have no qualms about highly recommending it for a family holiday. Thanks again to all of the lovely people at Prima Luna."
Albergo San Remo
"Had seen lots of great comments for this restaurant and since it was close to accommodation easy walk for us. Had really nice welcome and chose a Rose wine, very nice. I had sea food platter, beautiful fish loads of veg and salad, couldn’t eat it all, my wife had a pizza and said it was one of the best she had had. Right on water front well worth a visit, service also very good"
Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Val di Sogno. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of Lake Garda. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. It is a bit of a walk to Malcesine, especially if it is hot but we enjoyed evening strolls around the lake when it cooled down. The pool and garden area as well as the swim up bar provided welcome relief from the heat in the afternoons. The bartender Margherita (sp?) was a delight to visit with. We loved our stay!"
Albergo Villa Edera
Hotel Capri
Hotel Stella Alpina
"The hotel is in a central position close to the lake and ferries. The staff and food are excelent. Rooms kept clean and tidy. Superb menu in their attached restaurant. Would come again with out hesitation. Idealy situated for trips on the lake or to the mountains. "
Eco Hotel Ariston
"The hotel is lovely, we had room 25 which is one of the top floor rooms with Eco credentials and an absolutely fabulous view. Very clean and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay, the best it can be. Breakfast is continental with various cooked eggs available. There was plenty of choice to have something different each day if you wished. The hotel has a lovely garden that has a jacuzzi in it (cool, which was wonderful given how warm it was). Having breakfast in the garden was lovely and relaxing. 100m above the hotel is the cable car, so high mountain walks are easily accessible and 5 minutes walk will take you to a swim in the lake. Perfectly positioned. Loved our time here. Malcesine is a wonderful place and I’d thoroughly recommend the hotel we stayed in along with the top floor views."
Hotel Villa Orizzonte
"A very nice hotel with a great outdoor location. All very well maintained. Beautiful pool, small but fine rooms, best view of the Gardasee from the balcony. Breakfast is rich and good. The family-run hotel team is extremely friendly, hearty and premature. It was absolutely random and we'll be happy to come back "
Hotel Augusta
"We stayed at Hotel Augusta for our Honeymoon in August, booked via TUI.. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. We loved having a mountain view room overlooking Monte Baldo and the cable car - was brilliant being able to sit on the large balcony and watch the cable car or paragliders. It was an easy walk for us (could be more challenging if you had mobility issues) to the restaurants, osterias, gelaterias, shops, bus station and the ferry but was far enough away to feel calm and peaceful. The room itself was a good size, simply furnished and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of breads, cakes, fruits plus cheese, meats, cereal, yogurt etc and the coffee machine made pretty good drinks too. You could even make your own smoothie. The pool area was a peaceful oasis with lovely trees and a view of the castle. Lay on your sunlounger you could look up and watch the paragliders descending. Even though we were there in the August holiday week for Italians and the hotel was busy there was always still plenty of space to sit/lay available at the pool area. The only slight downsides that prevented me giving a five star rating were that on the days when we went on excursions to Verona and to The Dolomites we had to be at the bus station to be picked up at 8 am and because breakfast at the hotel didn’t start till 8 this created a little issue. We asked at reception if we could get a sort of packed lunch style breakfast on these days but they suggested calling into the breakfast area just before we left and take what we like from what had been laid out. The problem was that what had been put out at that time wasn’t very portable. The other minor issue was that although the bathroom was of a good size the shower itself was quite small and I kept banging myself on the fittings. Overall, these minor points don’t detract from this being an excellent hotel but are just little things that could be improved."
Bellevue San Lorenzo (Adults Only)
"Beautiful hotel, with a stunning elevated lake view. I would highly recommend, food is truly amazing, Staff are so helpful, friendly, & professional. We used the courtesy bikes more than once, & explored the lake area. It enhance a wonderful weeks holiday, i would go back in a heartbeat.."
Residence Alesi
"We felt very comfortable during our holiday; everything was wonderfully relaxed and unhurried. The breakfast was excellent, and the family is very friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and had a large balcony overlooking the lake towards Limone. Parking was available in the underground garage. We would have loved to extend our stay by two nights, but unfortunately, the room wasn't available for longer."
Hotel Sole Malcesine
"We enjoyed our week in hotel amazing views from our room on 6 th floor and pool area and terrace of restaurant. All staff were friendly efficient and very helpful. good location looking over lake and mountains. walk thru underpass to promenade and lake where there lakeside beaches to swim off which we so enjoyed doing so. We liked to go for a walk along in evening also very clean did not see litter on ground. Our room was a good size clean with good air conditioning as very hot outside kept us cool. Bus stop right opposite to Malcesine which is beautiful . We enjoyed swimming in pool cleaned regularly. Also enjoyed jacuzzi and sauna. Only complaint would be food. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Lunch had salads and couple of hot dishes bread rolls but no cold meat or cheeses. Dinner needed to get down when opens as hot food tends to go quickly and not always replenished but overall had enough choices to please us. This is not a 5 star hotel but offers good value for money in beautiful location."
Albergo Aurora
Hotel Casa Chincarini
"Super facility. The pool is genial and everything is super clean. We were the 2th time there. The location is also genial. It is a very well managed family hotel. Also breakfast does not open wishes. We come back"
Majestic Palace
"The good: Upgraded to a nice quiet room when we arrived (Deluxe I thnk) overlooking the main swimming pool. Very nice of them to do this. Great facilities, nice pools and loads of activities especially for kids such as mini golf etc. There's even a very nice indoor pool. Nice food in hotel and some restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast options, self service. Shuttle bus to centre of Malcesine. 18 minute walk down to the cable car. The not so good: Shuttle bus (basically a large taxi) only operated until after 6pm, you option to get to and from the hotel then is either on foot or there is a bus which costs €2. Thing is, most times we went to centre of Malcesine was in the evening when it was cooler. The problem was the walk back.20+ minute walk up hill. Or try and get the bus, which could be packed. The hotel is very much oriented towards German families with children. The pools were very busy most days. Near our room there are these circular pools nearby, one of them is a jacuzzi. Kids were playing on inflatables even in the jacuzzi. I'm not sure I'd fully recommend this hotel to couples looking for a romantic break. The staff in the bar.. some strange behaviour. My wife said we were in to look at the pizza menu and we were shuffled between 3 different people, then told no you need to eat the pizza in a different area, then told no you need to eat it in this particular part of this area. Very strange. I found that some of the staff in the bar area had an attitude. Overall though I recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. Just be mindful that if you plan to walk to the centre of Malcesine it is 20+ minutes, and the walk back is up hill."
Hotel Peler
"Stayed here recently for a wedding and was so pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. After ready the reviews we were a little worried but all for nothing! The hotel is very small but tastefully decorated and very clean! The breakfast in the morning is simple but delicious with so many lovely hand made treats! We arrived at the hotel early and expected to have to store luggage somewhere (as is the norm in most hotels) however the lady on reception told us our room was all ready and instantly gave us the keys! Very welcome after our early morning flight. The 2 ladies running the hotel were very polite and friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a room on the back (we requested a quiet room). We had amazing views of the cable car running up the mountains. It was very quiet and the only noise we notice was the bin lorry one morning around 8am. My only slight niggle would be that the air con is controlled by the owners and they only turn it on in the evenings. Did not impact our stay at all (as I’m always cold anyway) but is something to consider if you tend to pop back in the middle of the day in the summer and would want/expect the air con to be on. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"
