Majestic Palace

"Our 5 day stay in April 2026 was exceptional. Maj Palace appears to have been recently refurbished and all the photos shown on the website are completely accurate. Decor and high standard of interior design was outstanding. The staff are professional, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The roof top bar ,especially in the evening, is a beautiful experience with stunning views. Food is of the highest standard. The good size room had a large balcony with stunning views of the mountains and also to the Bay of Naples. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough."

"Great location and views, great staff, good food, lovely clean and well kept simple pool area. What more can you need? Oh yes, a take away breafast left at you room for your early morning return flight. Very thoughtful. All in all an extremely pleasant stay. Thankyou to all the staff."

"Quiet hotel with large garden and pool, approx 25 minutes by foot away from the town centre. Hotel is very clean and the staff are brilliant. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is excellent. The owners are verfy helpful including getting taxis to the hotel within minutes. I would highly recommend staying here even for longer stays"

"What we loved: the location is a short walkable distance from the more active town and its attractions. This made it nicely secluded from the action and noise of wandering tourists. Being on the other side of path on the beach, its views were unbeatable. Amenities included a fantastic assortment for their breakfasts and a convenient dining in experience. Also, a pool room, wine selections to purchase and a heated pool topped off the stay. Finally, service was warm and friendly. What made it a challenge: we had a junior suite, which was decorated in a modern fashion. Unfortunately, I have some mobility issues due to vision and balance. The floors (in hallways and room itself) had small steps into and out of various areas. This presented a challenge for us, but most likely not an issue for most. Possibly if the room and hallways had stronger lighting, that also would have helped. Overall, a wonderful experience."

Park Hotel Val di Monte

"We stayed here for my sons wedding, there was 8 in our party ranging from myself to my youngest grandchild of 2. This was advertised as a small family run hotel so we were unsure as to what to expect, however the Park Hotel Val di Monte was a fantastic find. Situated just a short drive from Melcesine this was a perfect location with great views over Lake Garda too. We had two rooms, one family deluxe and one junior suite, the rooms were great , very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were absolutely fabulous, nothing was ever to much, they catered for all 8 of us every breakfast and a few evenings too, the food was great and very reasonably priced. All the staff were outstanding and Sharon was very good with the children and assisted at meal times to arrange the tables. On our last morning, we had to leave at 06.00 and they made us packed breakfast for the journey to the airport and made us coffee too. Overall a fantastic hotel and would certainly recommend and I would definitely return when we visit Lake Garda. Thank you Park Hotel Val di Monte."

Bellevue San Lorenzo (Adults Only)

"Beautiful hotel with great view of the lake especially from the pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff. BUT, make sure you contact them and specify that you want to stay in one of the two main buildings. We assumed that our room with balcony would be there, but instead they put us in a smaller building that was more like a 3-star (2-star bedding) and an inferior view. We were told the prices are the same, and we should have told them we wanted to be in the main hotel buildings. "

"We felt very comfortable during our holiday; everything was wonderfully relaxed and unhurried. The breakfast was excellent, and the family is very friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and had a large balcony overlooking the lake towards Limone. Parking was available in the underground garage. We would have loved to extend our stay by two nights, but unfortunately, the room wasn't available for longer."

Hotel Sole Malcesine

"Great, quiet, position out of Malcesine. Walked 3 miles each way into Malcesine along an easy lake side path. Regular bus service too. Hotel serves excellent breakfast selection of fruits, cereals, cold platters, pastries plus egg and bacon. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. A 10 minute walk either side of the shore to Pizzeria Restaurants serving drinks / coffee / food. An excellent holiday"

"Had seen lots of great comments for this restaurant and since it was close to accommodation easy walk for us. Had really nice welcome and chose a Rose wine, very nice. I had sea food platter, beautiful fish loads of veg and salad, couldn’t eat it all, my wife had a pizza and said it was one of the best she had had. Right on water front well worth a visit, service also very good"

"A very nice hotel with a great outdoor location. All very well maintained. Beautiful pool, small but fine rooms, best view of the Gardasee from the balcony. Breakfast is rich and good. The family-run hotel team is extremely friendly, hearty and premature. It was absolutely random and we'll be happy to come back "

Hotel Peler

"We'd been to Malcesine 4 years ago (pre the Plague), and wanted to go somewhere "sort of familiar" for our 1st holiday abroad "post"-pandemic. This time, we wanted just B&B, deciding we'd explore the restaurants in town for evening meals. Thank you to our travel agent for suggesting Hotel Peler to us, for describing its location, facilities, etc. This is a lovely hotel, it was exactly what we were looking for. We knew exactly what to expect when we arrrived, so no surprises, just a great place to stay. This is a small, family run hotel. We found it very clean and very friendly. Excellent breakfast (and on the days when we had to leave early for excursions or to fly home, a "packed breakfast" was providied for us). The location positions it very well for many good restaurants in Malcesine - Mignon on Via Dosso being our most favourite of our stay. We'd definitely be happy to stay there again should we return to Malcesine! Thank you to Chelsea and her mum for running such a warm (!!) friendly and welcoming hotel!"
