Balcon Makrinitsa ★★★★

"An amazing hotel right in the heart of Makrinitsa! Perfectly located on the central square, it offers wonderful views and easy access to everything. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless, and I especially loved the warm, thoughtful lighting. Breakfast and the restaurant area were spacious and inviting, with a great selection of food. The service was excellent — the owners were kind, welcoming, and eager to share tips about Makrinitsa. I also have to mention the bar: the quality and variety of the drinks were impressive, and I had the best hot chocolate I’ve tasted in years! A truly charming stay — highly recommended."

Archontika Karamarlis ★★★

"We returned after three years and found the entire Karamarlis family, including young Marika and Yorgo, to be equally welcoming. The property was once again perfect: a charming hotel in a beautiful setting, a room with a terrace and breathtaking views of the Volos sea, impeccable cleanliness, and an excellent sweet and savory breakfast. Highly recommended, also for its excellent value."

Valeni Boutique Hotel & Luxury Spa ★★★

"A great place for couples. Not too far from village center (by driving). Very friendly staff. Great view. Designed with great taste. Minor maintenance issues. SPA facilities are extra and need prior arrangements."
