"Positive: The hotel is pleasant and very well located. The room is quite spacious. Negative: The AC didn't work, which made the room cold at night (we went in December); the hotel has its own parking, which I believe I share with the residents of a building next to the hotel. One day, when we arrived at the hotel, someone had thrown food onto our car, which was parked in the parking lot – regarding this aspect, I think the hotel could have more security, since they don't take responsibility for anything, but it's still an annoying situation."

"Beautifully restored family run farmhouse (circa 1750). Full of charm. Well located in quiet country surroundings approx 1/2 hr by car to Oporto center and 15 mins from airport. Onsite parking. Mr Marques the owner and staff very attentive and make you feel at home. We were going to a wedding and they allowed us to check in early so we could change into our suits etc. Large well appointed rooms overlooking small courtyard. Water pressure in shower superb. Very comfortable beds. Abundant home made breakfast included. Could not want for more. Hope to return next time in Oporto area."
