"We stumbled on Le Heron Studios while we were looking for a place to stay in the Magog area. My husband found it on Google, and by the time we had arrived at the location, his Google post had disappeared. More people need to know about this place! It needs to be sold out every day of the week because it is that wonderful. It is very secure where you need a key to enter all areas. Fabulousness in no particular order: fluffy new bathroom towels, contemporary comfortable design, brand new construction, electric car charging station, everything you would need for a short or long-term stay, central heat and air, free laundry facilities (bring your own detergent), comfortable bed and linens, fireplace in the sitting room, light switches with dimming switches in the dining area and sitting room, televisions in the sitting room and the bedroom, great rain head shower and deep bathtub in the Grand Heron room, magnifying makeup mirror, nicely scented bathroom products, a mirror in the bathroom that can change light color, full kitchen with refrig/freezer, dishwasher, oven/stove, and all dishes/utensils/pots and pans, coffee and coffee maker, an outdoor area that one could stay for a long time including blankets, gas fireplace, overhead heating, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, playground for the children, two brand new hot tubs, grill, comfortable chairs and loveseats. Lovely lakeside park nearby with skate park with boat and jet ski rental. Shops, gas, grocery, and lots of restaurants nearby."

"What an absolute gem!!! Au Couer de Magog is a charming B&B that allows visitors access to all the best of the beautiful town of Magog. Biking, walking, dining, strolling down a vibrant, revitalized street full of unique shops, swimming, boating…all just outside a private entrance to your room. Owners Nicole and Michele have created a very warm and welcoming environment whether it be for a day or a week. Nicole provided all kinds of helpful information about what to do, options for eating, bike routes and so much more. Invaluable! Thank you Nicole!! It was so nice to chat with you! To top it all off, Michele is a Paris trained chef who creates an incredible, homemade 5 course breakfast which varies daily. The portion size is perfect and everything was delicious!!! It would be truly hard to beat this B&B. It was my first visit after rave reviews from friends. I plan on making it a regular stop on my way from my Ottawa area home to Maine summer place. "We had the sweetest two night stay at Coq du Bonheur. We chose to come to Magog because we could see on the map that it would be at the center of the totality for the eclipse. We had no idea what the town would be like and hadn't really scrutinized the B and B options too carefully. We were just thrilled that all three of their rooms were available as we were traveling with our son and friends. Right away my phone interactions with Denis and Sylvie were delightful and I had a very good feeling about their place. A few weeks before the eclipse Sylvie surprised and delighted us with an email telling us she had purchased us eclipse glasses! When we arrived we discovered what a great location Coq au Bonheur was in. Just minutes from the big park (where we watched the eclipse) with walking paths alongside beautiful Lake Memphremagog and the very nice downtown of Magog so we could walk to the excellent restaurants there. Everything at Coq du Bonheur was PERFECT. And the breakfast was off the charts! Best we've ever had at any B and B. A four course breakfast, with freshly made smoothies, an expertly cooked gourmet egg dish, homemade loaf bread, and excellent coffee. All of our interactions with Sylvie and Denis were so positive and friendly. They are attentive but not fussy. They are very genuine people who clearly like people. Now that we have discovered Magog and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, we will be back! And there is no doubt we will stay at Coq du Bonheur!"
