"Stayed here for two weekday nights. The staff members at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room cleanliness left something to be desired. The surfaces had sticky patches, bedside table had hair on it, and the shower had some else’s personal hair in it (I found 3). Notified the hotel via the app and text (they texted me daily to check on things). No one ever came to the room or returned my chat/text. After I completed a survey sent to me by Hilton, the manager emailed me. Felt a little too late in my opinion. On day 2 I picked up sanitizing wipes and gloves so I could clean (fortunate as they didn’t ever send housekeeping to my room). Would consider staying again but would pack Lysol or Clorox wipes."

"We arrived at the property and went to the front desk, where two female staffers were preoccupied with something on the computer system. Stood in front of them for several minutes finally asked if this was the Hampton Inn, which they said yes, and went right back to their tasks. Finally, we decided to go to the restroom and then return to the desk where we finally were able to check in. No one said hello asked if they could help us. It was as if we were invisible. Never had this experience at any place before."

"Hotel Z has no elevator or indoor stairs, but rather stairs outside the building. I had two large suitcases and couldn't get them up. I asked the waiter if they could help me get them up. They said, "No." I asked if I could cancel. They said, "Yes." I asked if they could help me cancel for free. They said, "Yes, I can cancel for free, but I have to contact the platform for a refund." I'm a Ctrip Gold member, so I immediately contacted the platform's customer service. They called right away to confirm if a refund was available. The hotel's front desk said they needed to process the confirmation via email and told me to leave. After the platform contacted me several times to say the hotel wouldn't refund, I stayed at a nearby hotel. I contacted the hotel's front desk again and told them, "If you had clearly stated that you couldn't cancel, or if you had canceled the refund, I would have gotten my luggage up there anyway. You said you could cancel for me. You're deceiving consumers." I think I understand that "I canceled for you" means I'll keep your money, so you can leave."

"Service was pretty slow when we got there Thursday night. It wasn’t our waitress fault. Not very organized and kitchen seemed slow. The next morning we had to pay for breakfast. $15.99 for breakfast that is usually included in your stay. We only booked for one night because we had a grandson in a wrestling tournament and didn’t know if we would need two nights. I wish I had booked the second night with trip. Com and I didn’t because we were right there at the convention center and I walked back over and ask to get our same room for one more night. We got it for almost double the price of the first night and still had to pay for breakfast."
