Donghai Luxury Hotels

"Beautiful hot springs and nature, but come prepared! We stayed in a luxury cabin in the Donghai Hot Spring Resort. Overall, we had a nice experience, but there are a few important things international travelers should know. The Positives: Hot Springs & Nature: The hot springs were wonderful and very relaxing. The nature surrounding the resort is beautiful and peaceful. Great BBQ: We really enjoyed the barbecue area and even grilled some delicious shashlik (skewers) there. Helpful Staff: The girls at the reception were very kind. They helped us book a taxi to Donghai Railway Station for 100 RMB. Upon check-out, they also gave us a lovely Lianyungang souvenir magnet, which was a very sweet touch. Things to Consider: Room Outlets: There are no European-style power outlets in the cabins. We asked the reception for an adapter, but they didn’t have any. Luckily, we had our own power banks, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our devices. Bring your own Chinese plug adapter! There is a possibility to rent a power bank in main building though for 5 RMB/hour. Breakfast: The breakfast is purely Chinese style. Do not expect Western options. We had noodles, seaweed, eggs, fruit, and Coca-Cola. It was fine for us, but good to keep in mind. Location: The resort is quite isolated. If you do not have a car, it is very difficult to leave the property or get around on your own. We enjoyed the hot springs and the peaceful vibe, but the resort could improve by providing international adapters for foreign guests."

"This time, staying at Furu Donghai Hotel really surprised me! From the moment I entered the door, I could feel the hotel's care: the front desk lady had a super sweet smile, and the porter led us to the room after checking in quickly. He introduced the opening hours of the hot spring and the characteristics of the restaurant in detail, and was as friendly as a friend~ The room was more spacious than expected, and the mattress was moderately soft and hard. I felt relaxed as soon as I lay down. The hot spring was also very comfortable. My skin was smooth after the bath. The waiter would smile and greet me every time he met me. This feeling of ”being remembered” was so warm! I thought it was just an ordinary vacation, but I didn't expect that everything from hardware to service exceeded my expectations, and it was completely worthy of the five-star standard. I have recommended it to my girlfriends, and I will definitely visit it again when I come to Donghai County to take a hot spring bath next month!"

"My family and I had a fantastic stay at the Donghai Junlan Hot Spring Hotel during the Spring Festival – a truly heartwarming and therapeutic experience! The hot spring water was clean and comfortable; a soak left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The rooms were warmly decorated and tidy, with attention to detail, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, patient and considerate throughout, even providing complimentary hot spring tickets – truly thoughtful of their guests. We also received a lovely New Year's gift upon check-out, a thoughtful touch. A truly warm and welcoming stay, making us feel right at home and filled with the festive spirit. I highly recommend it to families traveling together for a relaxing vacation; I'll definitely be back!"
