"The very picturesque town of Lungern is a must see. The hotel is a self check in property which was straightforward but a little tedious. The room was nice and the views are everywhere. The buffet breakfast was also a highlight."

"Beautiful hotel and the view was exceptional. Food in the restaurant was on the pricey side (normal for switzerland) but the steak was the best one i have ever had and breakfast was nice. The train station is 2 mins away, trains usually every hour. Not really any shops around so better to stock up on snacks/drinks when in the main towns. The lake out the front of the hotel is absolutley beautiful. Only negative was there were quite a lot of flies in the resturant but hopefully the staff will sort that soon"

"The environment is beautiful, with a back courtyard right next to the lake where you can take a stroll. The beds are clean and hygienic, with good soundproofing. Breakfast is included in the room rate, making it excellent value for money."

"I selected this hotel on trip advisor to stay in Interlaken. But this hotel was 1hr travel time away. NOT INTERLAKEN!!!!! When I explain to hotel about it. 0% refund. Kept full price for booking and overall, I will never use trip advisor again, but hotel should have understood and refunded me. I knew 90% of Europe was a scam but did not expect this from Switzerland"

"The place is clean and conveniently located near the station, making travel very easy. There's also a supermarket nearby where you can buy food. A slight downside is that the pathway down to the dorm is a bit narrow, and there's no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage can be a bit of a struggle. It would be great if each bed had its own curtain (especially in mixed dorms). However, the breakfast is delicious with many options. You also get a free bus pass for the area, which is a great bonus."
