Of all the places we visited in Mallorca, I thought Arta was the most authentic and least touristy/busy. Forn Nou is in close proximity to tons of beaches, hiked, art, and good food. "We came for tennis lessons and the teaching skills of all our different coaches was just exceptional! The hotel provides good rooms with big windows and high quality bedding. The bathroom has however no amenities, no magnifying mirror, the minibar is almost empty and gets inconsistently refilled. Check-in was quick but we got just handed the key without any further information about locations, opening hours etc. Food was ok but nothing more with a average choice. The worst experience was the kids tennis camp for our two children. Hardly any information at the beginning, they never knew where to go and many changes during the program made their integration very difficult. A special mention for the physiotherapists who do an amazing job! I’ll definitely will be back but probably staying outside the hotel and just enjoying the tennis facilities."

"The single room with a balcony in the main building was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive. However, for my last night's extension, I couldn't get the same room type, so I had to change rooms. They moved me to the annex, which was really bad. There was constant machine noise before 8 PM, and it had been going on since I moved in at 11 AM. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything the neighbors were saying, as if we were in the same room. I've attached a video so you can hear it. Please consider booking the annex if you're unsure."

"We have just got back from here as a family of 5 with children of different age ranges. We lost count of the amount of people that we heard saying that this was their 4th/ 5th visit etc and we can see why. We had the such a brilliant stay. Rooms were lovely, housekeeping did a wonderful job at keeping them clean for the week. Pool was great especially safe for the little ones and the lifeguards very friendly. The restaurant was great, food always very fresh and delicious, the staff did a great job at ensuring that food was replaced. Entertainment was brilliant, just enough to keep you entertained but allowing you to have a peaceful stay too. All staff very polite and always said hello, they were all incredibly helpful. We loved the hotel, the area and the ability to travel about so conveniently with the bus stop right outside the hotel. We would never usually visit a place twice but we would absolutely return and were incredibly sad to leave."

"This hotel cost me my health. I got severe food poisoning in this hotel from the dinner food they have served. I had the symptoms in the morning and asked them to call a doctor, the doctor has referred me to a clinic which was not able to establish vascular access and damaged my arms from four different areas and were not able to cure me. Doctor said he will come and follow up, but he escaped. The doctor that hotel directed has been simply hooked it. Afterwards, we found a hospital by ourselves and I've spent the whole day in that hospital for hours to have treatment. We came back in the evening with the treatment bill, proofs, made a claim to the hotel. At the reception, we've also seen that there were bunch of people who were complaining about the food quality. They said that their management will decide on what to do. They did not show any existence of guest relations such as apologizing / asking for my health / being sorry for the situation. I'm not even mentioning that they did not approach to cover any costs because of their violence of food security, they did not care on what happened. Unfortunately and normally, we could not eat here anymore even though we had half board reservation which means our dinners were already paid. We simply ate bread and cheese from supermarket as a dinner for two nights knowing that at least those products had food regulatory and compliance assured. I meant to live to hotel the moment that this has happened yet because I was severely sick, I was not able to move. I could not trust anyone here from that moment on since what we had to experience which caused by hotel, was simply ignored and they even accuse us for lying. This hotel broke the rules of main basic rules: food security, compliance, non-existent guest relations and incorrect healthcare direction. And in addition to those as a result, trust and reliability. Avoid this place at any cost."

"Have you ever booked your honeymoon, paying for a 5 star hotel, and then arriving to find the whole hotel is under construction? None of the advertised amenities are available because, they too are under construction? Yeah me neither, until we went to Hipotels Hipocampo Palace this week. I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to share this. We were blatantly misled (frankly lied to). When we requested to move to a different Hipotel property in the area we got put into a 3 or 4 star different hotel while still paying our original price. We lost an entire day of our honeymoon dealing with this, logistics and moving hotels. What did Hipotels give us for upending our honeymoon? A complimentary drink ticket and 10% off coupon at their restaurant. Buyer beware when booking here as the website is completely deceiving and off base (at least until construction is complete). However more disappointing was their lack of service and accountability."

"The hotel is not on sea front, but is only a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms all over look the lovely swimming pool and well maintained gardens, there are ample comfortable sun beds, and a great pool bar serving food and drinks. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very quiet. The staff are fantastic, and can’t do enough to make you happy. The dining area is spacious and serves a good variety of food. Overall a excellent hotel and good value for money."

"This small hotel was recently & stylishly rebuilt from the inside out in an old structure near the center of the charming little village of Capdepera. The air conditioned rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. There's a small but comfortable lounge, a nice breakfast room adjacent to a pool in a courtyard and a spa below ground level. There's no restaurant, but there are several within easy walking distance (the owner will book one for you). The castle overlooking the village is a little more of a puff, but doable. There's no a lot else to do in Capdepera, but it's a great location for visiting the surrounding area, or a good staging post for travels across the island. Highly recommended."

"We had an overall great stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. There were plenty of activities for the whole family, and we especially want to thank the activity team. They were enthusiastic, professional, and made the experience fun for both children and adults. The only disappointment was the food. We found it quite repetitive and lacking in variety and flavor. Another issue was the drinking water and beverages served at the hotel. Everything tasted strongly of chlorine, which made it difficult to enjoy. We ended up buying bottled water and soft drinks from the local shop throughout our stay because we couldn’t drink the water provided by the hotel. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant vacation thanks to the wonderful staff and the excellent family activities."

"First time staying at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Ideal location with good mix of beach walks and shops nearby. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is spotless and well equipped. We found the food experience good... fresh and choices for everyone. We went all inclusive and found the food and drinks plentiful. Staff always attentive. We were blessed with good weather so spent most days relaxing by the pool, just what we wanted. We even asked reception for a kettle [as tea drinkers] and was delivered that afternoon, bring mugs if you want more than a small cuppa. Loads of entertainment over the day if you want that sort of thing which is varied and not pushed on you. Always something on in the evening although for the time of year is inside and a bit restricted. Local bus service is really easy to use so ideal for exploring and Cala Millor itself is beautiful. We have booked to go back again next year, same time/same place!!"

"We recently stayed for a week as a family. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, can’t complain. We did all inclusive one of the days which was good. The grounds and hotel itself it’s nice and clean. The pools games the children loved. We stayed for he entertainment one evening which was enjoyable. Staff all helpful and friendly. The only issue I had was on check out, I asked to use a shower prior to our flight home, which was on the evening. I was told we can use the spa facilities. We headed down and the whole place was absolutely wet through, there were not one single room dry to enable us to get dressed, also no towels (which I would have thought was a given) it was also absolutely red hot down there. Just generally very uncomfortable. I think maybe offering a room would be better, which is what we have been provided in other hotels."

"Nice hotel, bit dated and bathroom lacked a good scrub but was spacious and beds comfy. Pillows not to my personal liking but thats ok. Had an old adjoining room so we heard everything from the room next door, sneezing, talking and snoring! Agh. Balcony huge and facing the mountains which was lovely and we had the sun in afternoon. Food, only had breakfast but they catered well for Gluten free. Had their own station, schar products such as bread, muffins and cereal in packets. Good selection of just about everything else, hot buffet and cold meats cheeses etc. the fruit was delicious and of course drinks both hot and cold. Close to all you needed, gorgeous scenery and restaurants all catering for Gluten free too. Sangria was the best!"

"The pool (seawater filtered) is very large, and the beach is right in front. The underground spa also has a cold water pool (seawater filtered) and a jacuzzi, perfect for refreshing yourself. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes. The hotel held various events from daytime through the evening. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around. There are also many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient."
