"Hotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights."

"The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation. It's right next to a light rail station and a cathedral, and the bustling city center is just a short walk away. The breakfast selection is incredibly diverse; I ate until I was stuffed every day. My favorite was the waffles I made myself. The rooms are spacious and very quiet, with excellent soundproofing. It's also very affordable, offering excellent value for money."
