"Our family stayed at Hotel Liss for the wedding weekend of our daughter (American) and her husband (Albanian). The wedding was held at Hoteli Gjuetise on a Sunday night and there were 45 family and friends who stayed at Hotel Liss for three days. There are not enough superlatives to describe the hospitality of this hotel, its owners, and staff, and how graciously they met the needs of guests from around the world, including helping to coordinate taxi transport within Lezhe and to the airport. Their bridal suite was decorated with balloons, flowers, and champagne. The bar was stocked with the renowned Kallmeti wine, as well as a wide range of cocktails appealing to a variety of international tastes. The indoor bar and outdoor patio were perfect for accommodating guests who mingled and gathered before and after dinner. The Hotel Liss restaurant hosted dinner for these 45 guests on Saturday night: multiple courses, variety of salads and cheeses, fresh breads, perfectly prepared beef and chicken dishes, vegetable fergese for the vegetarian guests, tres leches cake for dessert. The food at all meals during the weekend was fresh, locally sourced, traditional, beautifully presented, and delicious. Toasts to the newlyweds were made at the Saturday dinner and the hotel provided a microphone and sound system for that, as well as background music to create a festive atmosphere. The hotel rooms were modern, spacious, and well-appointed; many had views of the castle. Guests could walk to the castle, take a taxi to the beach, or simply enjoy the fresh air and ambiance of the hotel's location in central Lezhe. We highly recommend this hotel for independent travelers, as well as those seeking accommodation for a wedding or birthday weekend, group tour, family reunion, etc."

"Since the day we arrived everything went the way it supposed to. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly welcoming (especially Eri and Bona the sweetest people we ever met), kind, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh and flavorful options every day (you mustt try the sea foods and pasta’s). The beach was stunning—clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or taking a swim. Everything about the place was spotless and beautifully maintained, from the rooms to the outdoor areas. You can tell they truly care about every detail. It was one of those stays where everything just felt easy and enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back. "Bad experience with bedbugs. I strongly advise against the Hotel Triumf. During our stay, we encountered a bedbug infestation in our room. Upon arrival, the room seemed clean, but once night fell, bedbugs began to appear, including on my children's bed. I took a video of the bugs and showed it to the hotel manager, who insisted that they were just mosquitoes and that their presence was due to the fact that we had eaten in the room, which is inaccurate. Despite the clear video evidence of the infestation, the manager refused to accept the situation and remained defensive. After a long discussion, he decided to refund us, but also demanded that we leave the hotel at 1:30 a.m., along with our three children. We were forced to leave in the middle of the night, which was very uncomfortable and stressful. This experience was extremely unpleasant, and the lack of responsiveness and professionalism from management is alarming. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, as it appears unwilling to take responsibility for cleanliness and customer service. As travelers, we need to be aware of these potential issues."

"My stay was marked by difficulties and inconsistencies from the moment I arrived, when my client's reservation couldn't be found. It took me about 40 minutes to realize the reservation actually existed, and another 30 to get my passport returned, since the hotel retains the document until checkout, but not mine. My client then made a second mistake by choosing half-board, which meant that on Monday evening, for dinner, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a buffet whose main courses were soup—and, wait for it, chicken wings. On Tuesday, dinner was served, and I enjoyed soup and grilled chicken breast. Finally, on Wednesday, another buffet with pasta with cream and ham, and guess what... chicken legs. In three days, I was fortunate enough to try every cut available. Now, let's move on to the room; I was given one on the seventh and top floor, which doesn't have an elevator, but no big deal, I thought; it goes all the way to the sixth. It's a shame that the one that goes to the sixth floor has been out of order on more than one occasion, and the other goes all the way to the fourth. In the room, the usual leaflet with rules, penalties for losing the key, and other things, including the requirement for a staff inspection before leaving the hotel and receiving the document. Breakfast is from 7:30 to 9:00: I go to breakfast at 7:31 since a driver would pick me up later, and I'm told that breakfast is from 8:00 onwards. I point out that the room has something else written on it, and breakfast is served in about ten minutes. In three days, the room has never been made up; no one has come in to change towels (which, as stated, is done daily), to do a little cleaning or check if soap, shampoo, or toilet paper needs replenishing, perhaps because, without a roll holder, they wouldn't know where to put it. There's a desk opposite the bed where you can put your laptop, but if you want to charge it, the only available outlet is behind the refrigerator, which you'll have to remove from the cabinet to plug it in. I feel sorry for the staff, who, except for the person I checked in with, were helpful and empathetic, but I don't think I'll be staying here again."
