"Nightmare Accommodation First of all: this is NOT an apartment, as proposed on Booking. The accommodation is a small room of about 7 square meters, with a sink and two hot plates, plus a bathroom. The only heating in the room is an electric heater and in the bathroom a towel warmer, both turned off upon arrival in the room (not a very pleasant welcome in London, in January, don't you think, Mr. Dodi?). Dilapidated windows, no thermal and acoustic insulation with the outside. I phoned the host and he told me to turn on the switches on the side of the heater, which I had already done to no avail. At that point the owner came and turned on a switch on the wall, which was off, complaining that I had brought him for such a trivial reason. I believe that, knowing that a guest was coming, everything should have been arranged by now. The towel warmer in the bathroom was frozen for the duration of the stay; I reported the matter to the host, who was very annoyed and replied that it takes some time to turn on (I repeat that it never worked). Not being able to stay four nights in a dilapidated accommodation with an icy bathroom, I tried through Booking to reach an agreement with the host, offering him to pay two nights instead of four, but he did not accept. After two nights I had to pay a hotel because I couldn't shower in a frozen bath without risking getting sick. I thank Booking for the assistance and the bonus of 25 euros (a bit little); The department interviewed by the operator said that they could not do more "because they did not have evidence that things were as reported"; try sending inspectors to see the structures you promote on your site and then you will also have the proof. L'unico riscaldamento della camera è una stufetta elettrica e in bagno uno scaldasalviette, entrambi spenti all'arrivo in camera (accoglienza non molto piacevole a Londra, nel mese di gennaio, non trova, Sig. Dodi?). Serramenti fatiscenti, nessun isolamento termico e acustico con l'esterno. Ho telefonato all'host segnalando la cosa e mi ha risposto di accendere gli interruttori sul lato della stufetta, cosa che avevo già fatto senza risultato. A quel punto il proprietario è arrivato e ha acceso un interruttore sul muro, che era spento, lamentandosi che lo avessi fatto venire per un motivo tanto banale. Credo che, sapendo che era in arrivo un ospite, tutto avrebbe dovuto già essere predisposto. Lo scaldasalviette in bagno è rimasto ghiacciato per TUTTA la durata del soggiorno; ho segnalato la cosa all'host, che molto scocciato ha risposto che ci mette del tempo ad accendersi (ripeto che non ha mai funzionato). Non potendo rimanere quattro notti in un alloggio fatiscente con un bagno ghiacciato, ho provato tram"

"This review is based on the price point and the value provided . The comms from the property were excellent , check in was very straight forward and easy , upon arrival the room was in excellent condition and very clean. The room itself is small but comes with a kitchen , at the price this was very acceptable , considering the proximity to the tube . You can be in central London within 10-15 mins and the olympic park is also very close. This is an excellent option for travellers on a budget needing a base to explore London . It is not the fault of the property , but the close proximity to street level makes it a bit difficult for light sleepers and we could hear every movement of the noisy guests above us. Overall a very nice stay , thanks to the property for their efforts."
