"I had high expectations for my stay at this hotel, having booked nearly a year in advance for a wedding on the island. Initially, communication leading up to my visit was prompt and professional, which set a positive tone. Unfortunately, my experience during my stay fell far short of the 5-star service I had anticipated. Customer Service and Communication: The check-in process was where my concerns began. I had previously arranged via email for a personal driver to take me to several points of interest. However, when I arrived, the staff member checking me in seemed reluctant to help, despite having received clear instructions in our email correspondence. After a delay, the request was finally handled, but only after I had to follow up multiple times. This lack of attention to detail and communication from the staff was disappointing, especially in a luxury hotel setting. Room Condition: The room itself was clean, but incredibly basic for a 5-star property. There were only 4 hangers provided, and despite requesting more, I received just 3 additional ones. The safe in the room was faulty, requiring multiple visits from maintenance to fix it, which was both time-consuming and frustrating. Additionally, the TV remote didn’t work and needed to be fixed as well. A hotel of this calibre should ensure that everything is in working order before guests arrive, rather than creating inconvenience after the fact. Facilities and Service: Another area of concern was the pool towels. On several occasions, the towel basket by the pool was empty, and when I asked the Pool Bar staff for assistance, I was told to go to reception to collect towels. This was inconvenient, especially considering the expectation of service at a 5-star property. When I voiced my frustration at reception, the staff member finally agreed to have the towels sent to the pool, but only after I had made my concerns known. This lack of proactive service was disappointing. Breakfast and Dining: The breakfast offered a decent variety, but the quality was average at best. The food did not meet the high standards one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Sadly, this trend of mediocrity extended to all dining options. Remote Location: The hotel’s location is quite remote, with no nearby conveniences such as stores or additional dining options. Should you need something like a convenience store or to visit another restaurant, you’ll need to take a taxi and travel at least 15 minutes. This lack of nearby amenities further limits the overall experience. Conclusion: While the hotel is clean and the staff did eventually address some of my concerns, the overall experience did not live up to the 5-star rating I was expecting. A luxury hotel should provide seamless service, attention to detail, and a level of comfort that was noticeably missing during my stay. I would recommend that the management focus on improving communication, ensuring that maintenance issues are resolved before check-in, and enha"

"The hotel has the most amazing scenery I've seen, while the hotel decor is lovely the bedrooms are in desperate need of TLC! Outdated the shower was awful, shower curtain too short, poor shower head the bathroom soaked with water afyer each shower. Food good for meat eaters plenty of choice poor for vegetarians. Lively entertainment in hotel, sadly the all inclusive bar poor. Only have wine, soft drinks, cocktails ftom.a menu and 1 beer tasted flat. No branded alcoholic drinks unless paid for. Barman drunk on duty. The water in the restaurant in the plastic drums replaced each day with tap water! Taxi trip to local harbour worth visit fantastic restaurants local cuisine and Mollies a bar very popular! Local people tentative to guests, good service and friendly and remember people when go back. While we had a nice holiday the hotel lacks basic customer care for the amount paid.."

"All in all a nice stay. But the rooms need an serious update. Especially the beds. No watercooker in the room (bungalow) and it was not aviable on request. The pool taverna is overpriced compared to food prices in Molyvos. Hotel staff is very friendly, but it is clear that the entire hotel lacks resources. This hotel has lost it’s standard over the years and we are sure that we will choose another hotel on our next visit to Molyvos."

"I can only add to the very best reviews I've read so far. The bed alone was superb, very high quality, I slept like a log. The breakfast lovingly prepared, local products, rich and something for every taste, everything prepared in the house, including fruit salad, cakes, pites. I felt sorry for not being a great breakfast person but enjoyed my musli with fruit, tahini, almond milk and walnuts very much. Coffee delicious. A great variety of fresh bread on offer as well. It's pure luxury to sit on the terrace overlooking the sea. (I did feel disturbed by some naughty pigeons though). The room was spotless and had a pleasant smell of cleanliness. The location is great, very central, the free-of-charge municipal car park just a few minutes away (pleasant walk). The hotel was established in 1956, has kept its charme and personality and still has all contemporary amenities (WiFi works great). Everybody super friendly with a big smile - from the reception to the ladies who clean the rooms. I needed ice for my swollen knee and it was offered it at the bar late night with kindness. Returning to Mytilini town would most certainly choose Lesvion Hotel again."

"We stayed at the Heliotrope for two nights in mid-November. Everything was excellent, the room was spotless, very comfortable for three people and exactly as in the photos. With two TVs, with a kitchen and in the center, close to the shops and the shopping street. But the main thing was the service of his people, their good mood and their willingness. We met Maria at the reception who helped us and explained everything in detail about the city and the island from the first moment. Maria, thank you for everything. "This is our third visit to this hotel and to the International Women’s Festival. The hotel is consistently good, we have been twice with Mark Warner and once when it was managed by Neilson. This time we were with Mark Warner and the staff were charming. Particularly good were Harry on the bikes, Sophie and Vicky on the fitness and Ralli on the water sports. The manager was accommodating in wiring up the hotel TV so we could watch the Rugby World Cup, and generally I don’t think this hotel can be faulted. I did note from other posts that you can book it more cheaply via Jet2, but we go for the Mark Warner activities. Two of our friends booked with Diva Destinations, which is much more expensive, but they get various additional activities included. The Festival itself was less interesting than in previous years and, as a straight couple, we didn’t feel welcome this year, which we have in previous years."
