Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat ★★★★★
"We visited Mythical Coast with my husband for a relaxing three night stay. It was the second time in this hotel! Huge progress! The staff of the hotel this time was fantastic and very helpful. From the moment you arrive in the hotel, you enter in a complete different atmosphere which is calm and relaxing. The SPA facilities were fantastic as always and the gym was good enough for a small morning training. The room was perfect and clean with excellent service available. Breakfast was very good.Great place for a special visit!!"
Elena ★★★
"Elena is super friendly, her husband has a grocery store downstairs in Stratos, and she's cheerful and helpful. If you come by car, there's a parking lot nearby. Anaxos is a quiet and peaceful holiday village. All the details have been thought of so you can cook in your room, ideal for families."
Aeolian Village Beach Resort ★★★★
"I loved this vacation. Everything was just perfect, very kind and helpful staff, nice clean rooms. Food was delicious and there was a really big choice of various meals. Sea was clean but definitely we recommend shoes as there are stones. Hotel is approx 2 hours from airport but it's worth it! :)"
Heliotrope the Studios ★★★
"Nearly Brilly Hotel"
Delfinia Hotel & Bungalows ★★★

Belvedere Aeolis Hotel ★★★
"I would like to recommend this absolutely wonderful hotel ❤️It was such a beautiful hotel and all the people that worked there, was really fantastic. They were so kind and made our holiday so wonderful. The people who worked ind the bar, at the restaurant, the hotel owner and the wounderful beautiful women in the reception inkluding Maro, deserves a huge thanks for their kindness to us. The hotel had a beautiful pool with sea view, and we could stay there all day. The most beautiful pool I’d ever seen. We went to Conga bar in Molivos, a beautiful bar to the sea. It was amazing, and the best and most beautiful bar i’d ever went to. We had a wonderful evening at Nisi restaurant, and we will recommend anyone to go there. The father and his son who owned the restaurant, were extremely kind and warm-hearted. There is a big olive tree and with lights who make it so nice and beautiful. The food at the hotel was extremely good, and the drinks was also really good especially rum with cherry❤️🍒 Our room was cleaned so fine, totally perfect, and the woman who cleaned our room was so kind to us. The Greek people are really warm hearted and we love Greece. I traveled with my daughter and cousin and we had the most wonderful holiday, that we will never forget. We will be back again one day, but for now we would like to give our biggest thanks to this wonderful hotel and all the people who worked there, who made our holiday so wonderful and unforgettable ❤️🙏 With Love Ane, Smilla and Helena, Aarhus, Denmark."

Panselinos Hotel
"A tad late with this review, sorry. We decided to sneak an extra week away after being home from our annual visit to Molyvos and thought “why not?’ Soma last minute booking we got the last 2 seats on the plane. Me half way down and the better half at the front! It was interesting to go at a different time than normal and put faces to many names of folk who comment on the Facebook groups. Last drop off by the coach but we were met and shown to our room by a very professional and polite young lady (alas, I can’t recall her name) a quick unpack and straight to the bar where the staff greeted us like old friends. Lovely. Talking of old friends it was hilarious to see people who assumed we’d left not to return until 2024! The pool is massive and we always got sun beds. Breakfast was worth getting up for. A minibus ran to the village each night - once as we were the only passengers the driver went and got his own car “faster and easier” Our room was great. Plenty of space and was cleaned every day. A few times we got back late to the hotel to find the bar still open…win, win! We’d highly recommend the Panselinos and wouldn’t hesitate in going back."
Sappho Hotel
"An excellent family hotel, like a jewel shining in Lesvos! Perfect location by the beach, amazing staff, housekeeping everyday, delicious bountiful breakfast, cool bar & lounge ... thanks so much to all of you for the wonderful time we spent!"
Paradisos Studios
Elysion Hotel
"DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT HOTEL !!! Wedding Party by the pool until 02.00 AM with loudest Music. We could not sleep after exhausting day of excursion and sun. Disrespectful and Careless Management did not do anything about that loud music. In addition there is Rocky Beach and at breakfast unfresh croissants. Barely 3,5 Star Hotel NOT 5 Star. Ask before reservation If there is Local Wedding at the hotel. Emre Atalay"
Panorama Hotel
"Perfectly situated, at the Molyvos end of Petra, this hotel was very reasonably priced, to stay at, had perfect amenities and delightful staff. Rooms were spacious and had plenty of storage. The beds were a little unforgiving but that could easily be because I've ruined my back playing Rugga and my wife’s recently had surgery. However, we overcome the firmness by popping a couple of the available blankets underneath the base sheet. Nice and dark, with shutters. My wife was delighted that there was a hairdryer. No kettle but, having stayed here previously, we knew to bring an inexpensive travel one. Plentiful dressing table for makeup and women's hair stuff. Perfectly sized fridge to hold chilled drinking water. It was between 90ish and 110 degrees, whilst we stayed. The air-conditioning wouldn't set the target temperature below 22 degrees C. However, we frequently woke to find the overnight use had brought the room temperature down to a rather chilly 20 degrees C. Nice balcony, with space to dry towels. Plug sockets are a bit spartan but we brought a couple of 3 pin adapters and plugged them into Europe adapters and happy charged 2 phones, 2 tablets, 2 fans, an ipod and boiled a kettle. The breakfast buffet catered for all European and British tastes. The pastries, yogurt, honey and watermelon were particularly nice. Didn't have any problems others had reported with the toaster; turning the knob and patience then just required. We explored the island, and consequently didn't eat here much. However, two Greek lunch dishes were delicious and very inexpensive. As was the bar. A carafe of ½ litre white wine, a schweps soda water and schweps lemonade was €12. Bargain. Family run hotel, two charming brothers and their delightful children were front of house. They were more than happy to chat, advise about the island and help me work out how to pay a parking ticket, nabbed whilst in front of the pharmacy in Petra. Or equally happy to leave other guests to some quiet relaxation. What I liked the most was the pool area. Yes it became busy with children, once both European and British schools broke up. But our choice to holiday at this time of year. Wonderfully, it had sun protection, over about ⅔ of the loungers. Perfectly, to relax and no spend all day manoeuvring into the shade. At the end of our first week the sun loungers were given softer coverings. Encouraging us to stay around the pool more. Excellent addition. The hill, to the highest accommodation, with the best views, looks brutal. However, our request for a lower down was kindly accommodated. 5€ each per day for tourist tax and air conditioning, wasn't expensive. We hope to return again next year and couldn't hope for somewhere more suited."
Sunrise Resort Hotel
"Fantastic apartments with extraordinary views. The apartments are set into a hillside the higher the apartment the better the sea view. It’s very steep so if you have mobility issues ask for a low level. The hotel is spotless and the breakfasts very good. The staff are very friendly, there are 2 pools one of which is for families and kids and one is adults only. Both have great views and are very nice. The hotel is about a mile and a half from molyvos centre and the hotel lays on a courtesy bus several times a day, Molyvos is an incredible small town with lovely harbour. This hotel is great and we loved it but just be aware that it is a distance from molyvos. We got a taxi several times and it was only 6 euros so found it ideal."
Pasiphae Hotel
"Good bits first nice location decent rooms size nice bed free Aircon breakfast very repetitive no changes, bad bits sunbed reserved every day by 7.00am? BBQ night not worth the money no sink in the bathroom ? Only in the bedroom ? ,staff hard working but not over friendly maybe a language barrier?"
Clara Resort
"If you want luxury resort with international style food go somewhere else. This is Greek at its best. Not for those with mobility issues as quite a few steps and inclines. Pool area lovely and almost on the sea shore. Low level Greek music at the resort and in the small local family run restaurants. Home cooked Greek food. "
Aphrodite Beach Hotel
"A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Our room's air conditioning was a bit slow, largely because the cleaners insisted on leaving the windows/doors to our room open once they'd been in the morning so the day's heat was allowed to penetrate inside. Why couldn't they shut everything after, say, thirty minutes or whatever? Clearing this took more power than the air con units could really muster. A small matter really as we weren't uncomfortable. Breakfast was good enough, fresh eggs, bread, pastries etc. The taverna/cafe was very good, authentic Greek food...and I don't mean waterfront/beach tourist Greek Salad authentic. Very tasty, very basic, good value and plenty of it. Visited by many from outside the hotel, who also used the hotel's pool. Mid day the pool was complete mayhem. Children turned the pool into a warzone running laps, divebombing, lilo fights screaming and shouting. I witnessed hotel guests arguing with pool visitors (non-hotel guests) over sunbeds, and the visitors lying they did indeed stay at the hotel and were Jet2 clients - highly unlikely as they were clearly Dutch! I also noticed visitors removing a guest's shirt and towel from a bed so they could use it, even though visitors are only allowed the use of a small fraction of sunbeds. A really poor experience, and we didn't use the pool area for the rest of the holiday. I brought the matter up with reception who thanked us for mentioning it but stated non hotel guests only used the pool at weekends, but this was clearly not the case. We asked why there wasn't an occasional pool attendant and were told staff were too busy working in the restaurant as they get a lot of outside visitors! We had a hire car and were thankful we hadn't elected to walk into town at night. Steep uphill for the first half mile, and if a warm night then a bit of a hike. Lots of people getting taxis, quite wisely, but Lesvos is a fantastic island with some very lovely places to visit - particularly restaurants, so why not hire a car and do the island justice? To summarise - a good hotel experience, marred by carnage at the pool. If you want the whole island experience then the Aphrodite is perfect, if you want lazy times by the pool with a book while your child plays then check you have ear plugs and your child is a confident swimmer and isn't deterred by groups of other kids racing, bombing, diving, screaming etc etc "
Eressian Hotel & Hammam Spa
"A simply beautiful, stylish, elegant hotel with thoughtful, kind & helpful staff. The atmosphere is quiet and therapeutic. The building & rooms are just beautiful (check the website!). The Hammam is amazing- completely cleansing and relaxing- like a meditation that puts you right ‘in the moment’, connecting you to your mind, body & spirit. I came away floating- calm & grounded. I can’t wait to book another treatment. Thank you so much! See you again very soon! Namaste. Clare x"
Kalloni Village Apartments
"We just completed our first stay here and we could not have been more happy about the experience. We come to Kalloni regularly to visit family, and this is by far the best hotel in the area. The warm welcome and complete dedication to service reflected Greek culture but also the belief of the brothers who own the hotel. To top it off, the food was excellent! TIP: The beach at the hotel is excellent. Suggest avoiding the beach at Skala Kalonis as it is just average. If you want to do something different, drive to Vatera or Xambelia for other great beaches."
Blue Sea Hotel
"The view is excellent, and it's very close to the harbor. Don't expect much from the breakfast. The bathroom urgently needs renovation. The elevator barely fits one person. The staff are very grumpy. I'll give it 4 stars for the view and location."
Malemi Organic Hotel
"On arrival the hotel looked ok but when we went in our room it was obvious we had made an error of judgment. After reading some of the other 5 star reviews we thought we had booked a lovely traditional greek hotel but i can only assume these reviewers have never been abroad before if they think this hotel is nice. The room itself was bearable but the food at breakfast and dinner was way below standard in choice variety and quality so much so that we ate out after the first few days. The pool area was ok except for swimming lessons for the local children every morning and then to top it off the local teenagers came late afternoon and used the pool having said that this was the only time you could get any service at the pool bar and in the evening there was nobody available for drinks in the hotel bar. The resort itself was lovely and had many nice inexpensive restaurants and bars so our holiday was not ruined. We will be returning next year to this beautiful resort but definitely staying elsewhere. I am very disappointed with Jet2 as i expected much better having travelled with them for many years."
Alma Hotel
"If you ever get the chance to visit Lesbos Island, this is absolutely the place to stay! We stayed in a family room, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff made our stay even more special—they were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food deserves a special mention too: fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors that made every meal a treat. And the resort itself… just perfect. From the well-maintained grounds to the relaxing atmosphere, it felt like a little slice of paradise. In short, everything about this place—from the rooms to the view, the staff, the food, and the resort itself—was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay on Lesbos!"
