"A warm and unexpected hotel. The room was very clean. I stopped by to visit a high school in the US and rested for one night. It was very quiet and the room was large."

"Beautiful B&B in close proximity to downtown restaurants and shops. Beautiful old home with decor to match, clean, and welcoming. Friendly inn keepers that made sure you were enjoying your stay. Breakfast was made to order upon arriving at your set time, coffee was excellent, and a nice touch with the afternoon cookies. Evenings were very quiet, shower always had hot water, towels replenished each day, and each room had its own heat to regulate for comfort. Plenty of parking and keyless front door entry made access easy for coming and going. Absolutely would stay here again. This B&B made for a great weekend get away."

"We had stayed at the Constance Inn before it became the Hideaway Inn and loved it. Sadly it’s not the same Inn! We were told in a confirmation email from the Hideaway that there would be a continental breakfast. There wasn’t. We were given the wrong room initially and switched to another room but never given a new entry code although we tried to contact staff multiple times through text and phone. Trash was left in common areas for days. Much of the furniture was uncomfortable to sit on. The place felt generally uncared for. And what was most infuriating has been seeing all the fake five star reviews posted on various sites. Staying at the Hideaway Inn was the worst part of our 2-week vacation. And that’s saying a lot because the East Coast was experiencing an extreme heat wave when we visited."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Gateways Inn. My husband and I were on the way to Boston and stopped her for the night before. Our room was lovely and very clean. Michelle made us a delicious breakfast, which was included, the next morning with a nice variety of choices. I would highly recommend at stay at this beautiful inn."

"I would rate my stay closer to a 4.5/5 due to some minor hiccups during my 2-night stay. This is a new property and upon entering the lobby, the hotel still has that brand new smell. We were warmly greeted upon check-in and quickly given our room keys. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was very spacious with a full kitchen, living room with a desk and couch, bedroom, and bathroom. Pros: - the bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept great - the shower pressure was fantastic - the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials that you would need during a longer and shorter stay (e.g. pots, pans, toaster oven) - we didn’t enjoy some of the other amenities such as outdoor seating, lobby bar, and pool but all seemed very nice - immaculately clean - friendly staff -great location…Lenox is a 5 minute drive and Stockbridge was a 10-15 minute drive Cons: - this was a a first for me: it appeared that using too much electricity at once in the room tripped the circuit breaker multiples times. For reference we stayed in room 303. After housekeeping cleaned our room, we noticed the fridge stopped working resulting in our food sitting in a unchilled fridge for hours. We called down to the front desk and they instructed us to check the electrical panel which did the trick. However, when I attempted to use the microwave, another circuit breaker kept tripping. I discovered that I couldn’t have the under cabinet kitchen lights and microwave on at the same time. I’ve stayed in hotels and resorts all around the world and I’ve never had a problem like that. - Both TVs repeatedly kept freezing during our entire stay. I don’t know if it was a connection issue, but was annoying while trying to watch football games. - Not the biggest deal in the world, but we were on the 3rd floor and there was no ice machine on our floor. We had to go down to the 2nd floor. All-in-all, this was a solid hotel for a long weekend in the Berkshires. I would return, but some kinks still need to be worked out, which is expected for a brand new property."

"We spent a weekend in Lenox and stayed at the Hampton Terrace Inn. This was not our first time, and the experience still was excellent. We stayed in the main house and enjoyed the ease of walking downstairs to the large sitting room with fireplace and a piano. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The inn is within walking distance to the downtown area with its many excellent restaurants and shops, our favorites being Alba and Cello for dinner, and Haven for lunch. In the summertime, its close to Tanglewood music center. Stan is an excellent host and we have no reservations about returning again."

"Beautiful inn perfectly located in the heart of Lenox. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom luxurious. The bedding was fabulous and so comfy. Beautiful LI ing rooms with cozy fireplaces to relax in. We loved the breakfasts and loved that each of the 3 mornings was a different breakfast choice. Yummy cookies eatery afternoon to go with a newspaper. Umbrellas for the rain. You thought of everything. Thanks for a perfect long weekend."
