"Another exceptional stay at Le Noyer. The hosts, Warda & Alex, have the skills to make you feel at home, but also on holiday. Magnificent pool, fabulous shower in the double aspect room with sitting area outside. Well located, within 1 hour of Bergerac and less to many of the beautiful villages. This was our second visit and they’ve upgraded dramatically since last year. Merci our votre hospitalité et a bientôt"

Logis Hôtel le Cygne ★★

"Extremely disappointed by our visit for lunch recently. I was charged 30€ for a half bottle of wine. I queried it as it was at least 50% more than I was expecting. It wasn't on the wine list but suggested as an alternative to a sub-20€ wine I had chosen. However, the waiter insisted it was the correct price and I'd not been overcharged. I subsequently raised the issue with the hotel who said there had been a mistake but that I was at fault for not raising the matter at the time which, as explained, I did. To be accused as being at fault and not to receive an apology is unforgiveable, even if they did refund me 10€. It had been at the top of my list of places to eat in Le Bugue; it is now bottom and I shall not go there again."
