CClarenceI booked a Double or Twin Room in The Metrotel for 3 people staying two nights in New Plymouth. First, the room is spacious enough that we could have our own space during the stay and everything is neat and tidy. There is a in-room mini kitchen and guest laundry outside while it is very important to us. Highly recommended this to you.

Ddisy3The location is in the city center and close to the sea. There is a Chinese restaurant next to it, and supermarkets are convenient for eating. In short, the location is good. The two-bedroom house has a separate bathroom in each bedroom, which is very suitable for two families!

As I mentioned at reception the room service staff replaced towels that were hung up and which I was happy to use again (contrary to what it said on the card in the bathroom and is now standard practice in most hotels). That was an extra 4 towels to the laundry over 5 days for one room - this all adds up - I am just thinking of the planet and also the autolodge laundry bills!

GGuest UserThe room was older but very clean, the wall was cracked, the carpet stained and the toilet not bolted to the floor. None of things made the stay any less funtional and the service standard and facilities were excellent. It was excellent for our family and we would stay again.

GGuest UserIt was okay not much milk, little space and heating was not working properly. Place was a bit dusty, very small and tight parking space. Thin walls can hear people next door.

思思When we arrived, it was close to 10 o'clock in the evening, so I was really afraid that there would be problems in the stay - but in fact there is a British lady waiting for us! When we arrived, we received us very kindly, and we warmly told us where we can eat at night. The next morning we saw the proprietress, the Chinese lady, and the kindness is not to be said. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, and the equipment is very complete! If you come later, I will still choose to stay here!
