GGuest UserQuiet location but still only minutes from station and shops. We stayed for an extended period as visiting family and Stayed in a twin room which is a very good size. Plenty of room to ‘live’ . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, great choices and all very fresh. The breakfast area being used as a ‘lounge’ with free drinks from 2-8pm was very useful. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay. One very minor thing, is that there is no room safe so if you feel the need to lock valuables away they have to be deposited with reception. Would highly recommend Richmond Hotel.

GGuest UserIt's close to Himeji Castle, with supermarket nearby. The facility is clean. The staff recommended walking around Himeji Castle during the night time, it was really nice and beautiful. Staffs are not always around, even drop luggage before check in should be done after 10am, so be aware of check in and check out time.

GGuest UserHotel has the usual amenities at the reception, one will need to take the night gown from the level 1 cabinet. The hotel provide home cooked breakfast which was quite tasty. Not sure if the slippers are clean as they were not in any packaging. Overall good value to price ratio.

GGuest UserReally good experience in there!!! Love their hot spring!!!!!! You can have the really beautiful view when you enjoy the hot spring!!! The service was really good and they try their best to communicate in English with me. However, don’t expect that the room is so clean. Is still acceptable for me. Strongly recommended if you drive a car to there.

JJonathan Tak ShingMy wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.

GGuest UserWe had a really good stay here. The hotel is in a great spot, not too far from Himeji station and very easy to get to the castle from there. The highlight for us was definitely the free public bath inside the hotel. It was so relaxing to use the sento after a long day of walking. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
