"We had a great experience at the ibis budget hotel in Glasgow. Rooms was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. There was nothing to complain about. People looking for a stay in Glasgow on a budget should definitely give this one a try. It is not that far from the main city centre. Also there things to do around the hotel location. There is a lovely bridge near by connecting the main centre."

"Overall I am happy with my stay here. Firstly, the hotel is in a perfect location in the heart of Glasgow city centre and very close to trains, buses and metros. You are also surrounded by bars, restaurants, cafés and shops. I was very impressed with the room. It was spacious and with an adequate amount of storage. I liked the modern decor and the room was spotless. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar and bowling alley on the top floor looked cool. I marked the room down for amenities because it didn't have a kettle and the desk should have included a mirror so I could sit and do my make up."

"This is a lovely traditional looking hotel in an plush upmarket suburb of Glasgow. We were attending a concert at Bellahouston Park so was an ideal location. The room we had was spacious and clean, the service from the staff was exemplary and should we be in a the area again would consider staying there."

"Absolutely amazing hotel. We got it at a time when rates were cheap so it was so worth the money. The pool and sauna were great and we were allowed to use it after check out too. Reception staff were always helpful. Good view from the window too of the river."

"I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow and had a lovely experience overall. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. The room itself was a little on the smaller side, but honestly perfect for two people - comfortable, cosy, and with everything we needed. We had two beds which were really comfortable, and the room included some nice touches like a coffee machine, plenty of towels, and good quality toiletries. The location was also great - close to the city centre, easy to get around, and quiet enough at night for a good sleep. Everything felt safe and well looked after. The only slight downside was that the service could be a bit slow at times. For example, when calling reception for something, it sometimes took quite a while for them to respond or bring what we asked for. It wasn’t a big issue, but something to be aware of if you’re in a hurry. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic. The staff were friendly and polite, the hotel had great amenities, and the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, and convenient. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you would expect. Very close to the train station with excellent connections to Glasgow central and beyond. I forgot my toothbrush but the reception staff helped me out with one. The restaurant is lovely but a little pricey and not a lot of choice for vegetarians. Otherwise a very pleasant experience."

"Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott near the SEC/Ovo Hydro for a gig and it was ideal. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable — exactly what you want after a late night. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, and we had food at the bar in the evening which was also spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you're going to a show at the Hydro or Armadillo — it's basically a 5-minute walk so no hassle getting back after the event. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Glasgow for a concert."
