"The reception staff are helpful and kind. The hotel is super clean, has an amazing restaurant, and offers a gym and a free shuttle service to the airport. Its city-centre location makes it easy to walk around. Overall, it was a great experience.”"
"If you going for business trip and thinking to get a hotel then please stay there, service is very good Visit the Indian restaurant too however their Indian tea is not good authentic rest everything is awesom"
"This is my third stay here. I always contacted the host directly to book the room and airport pickup before, but this time I booked it online because I needed to get reimbursed. It also includes three meals a day, all of which are Chinese food, so it's great value for money."
"I stayed at Jano Hotel in Addis Ababa for 3 nights, and I can say it was a very pleasant experience overall! The hotel is very nice – the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, offering real comfort. The staff was friendly and attentive to details, making me feel welcome from the start. The breakfast was decent, although I would have liked a greater variety of options to make it even more appealing. The only less ideal aspect was the access road, which is quite bad and can be a challenge, but once you arrive at the hotel, everything more than makes up for it. I warmly recommend Jano Hotel to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing spot in Addis at an excellent price-quality ratio!"
"The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always smiling. They helped me find a trustworthy taxi, which I really appreciated. The room was cleaned every day, and the sheets were changed regularly. The location is very convenient, close to the airport and other places around the city. I was also picked up from the airport, which made my arrival very easy. The hotel is quiet and not crowded, and the price is very good compared to other hotels. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit. The wifi is ok but could be better"
SSteve SulaskiClose to the airport with free shuttle service. Multiple restaurants and lounges for enjoyment. Nice shop Efficient and friendly service. Clean and in good repair. Good breakfast buffet
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. We were especially impressed by the team who served us breakfast and provided room service. The women, including Melat, were incredibly kind and friendly — starting our mornings with her bright smile truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
AAtie TaktehraniThe host was an amiable and hospitable lady. She welcomes you with warmth, and the staff also behaves respectfully. The guesthouse is beautifully designed, with eye-catching artwork in every corner. Our room was lovely and comfortable, but there were some shortcomings. It seems that the main light in the room was burnt out, making it dark at night. Additionally, there was no trash bin in the room and the toilet hose needed repair.
The host has five adorable dogs, which is important to mention in the guesthouse description for those who may have sensitivities or fears of dogs. This information helps travelers decide whether to reserve a room, considering some people may be uncomfortable around dogs.
You can experience local cuisine at this guesthouse. If you enjoy Ethiopian food, you will appreciate the offerings. A supermarket is nearby, and you can use the kitchen facilities to prepare your meals.
Please note that hot water is not readily available. You'll need to inform the staff to heat the water, and it takes at least two hours for it to warm up.
GGuest UserIt is better than I have expected. The hotel is new, rooms are nice and clean. Free shuttle to airport.
But there are some disadvantages:
- location is not good
- there are no gym, spa or swimming pool
- late check out after 6 was not possible even after we paid extra (half of the daily cost)
RRonnie HallettBest Hotel I've stayed at in Addis Ababa. Unfortunately due to Foot and Leg Injuries; had to stay in Room for majority of time. Personnel very helpful for Room Service..and assisting in pushing my wheelchair. Highly recommended for anyone who is thinking of visiting Addis Ababa.
