I can’t thank the team enough for their kindness! I arrived late and hadn't checked my email for the self-entry instructions, so I was worried I’d be stranded. Instead, the staff actually came out in the middle of the night to make sure I got in safely and settled. I felt so well taken care of—this is hospitality at its best.

Had a great stay at Motor Inn Pegasus Brisbane. I booked through Trip.com and found the price to be much cheaper compared to other platforms, which was a great bonus. The service was excellent, and the room was very clean and well maintained. The location was convenient, and overall it offered great value for money. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We spent 4 nights at the Kingsford Brisbane Airport Hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. They lent us a couple of Go cards which we could top up round the corner. The room was spacious and we did not feel cramped having a separate lounge area to the beds and bathroom. The hotel was quiet in spite of the busy road outside. Breakfast had an adequate selection of dishes which suits someone who might want eggs benedict or just a muffin for breakfast.
The hotel is a block along from the Ferry for a 50minute ride to Brisbane CBD also a bus stop if one wants to get there faster. There are a good selection of restaurants close by in two directions.
We felt very well looked after and all the staff looked after us very well. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are planning to stay for a few nights and want to be really comfortable.

We had a queen accessible room down stairs as it was the only room available. The bathroom really needs renovation. The shower was leaky, leaving the whole floor wet. The shower screen rail was rusty, as was the shelf in the bathroom. The tap for the toilet was green. There is ventilation in the bathroom. The room was very noisy from early in the morning. I have stayed here before in an upstairs room, which was much better. Frankly, this stay was very disappointing.

Close to the airport, easy to find. Had no trouble with train noises once asleep. Room was clean as well as the bathroom.
On the negative and really not that big a deal is that the undercover parking is limited and spaces not very big.
Also Watch the bottom step in the dark. Miss stepped going down at 4.30am as I didn't see the bottom step and landed on my knees. Could do with a bit more lighting at the bottom of the stair.

The room is very clean. The beds in the standard room are two single beds about 90 cm long. The hotel may be run by an old couple, who are very kind and friendly. I booked a stay there because I had a flight with two children the next day. The hostess showed me the room and told me that the bed might not be suitable for sleeping, but if I didn't mind that she allowed me to stay too and told me there were extra blankets and pillows so we could sleep on the carpet. We left the hotel at 3:30 in the morning so we just made do for the night. Dad sleeps on carpet, but it's very comfortable and there's nothing wrong with it. Thank you very much for the warm reception from the store. He was afraid that we didn’t have enough water and provided us with drinking water and even brought me chocolates. Thank you so much.

The decor feels quite new and modern. All the rooms are very clean. There's a swimming pool, sauna, and gym, all free to use. They even provide separate towels in the gym. We got a free membership and were allowed a late check-out until 12 PM, plus two complimentary drinks. However, the hotel is located on a hill, so if you come by public transport, you'll need to walk uphill. On the bright side, it's only about a 10-minute walk to the city hall and other bustling areas, which is quite convenient.

Great
LLast TouristLocation & amenities:
The location is the biggest asset of this nice independent hotel. It's near Toowong shopping center and the shops and restaurants that surround it, which include chemists & a 24 hour 7-11 convenience store. The hotel itself is home to the Katsuco Japanese restaurant on its ground floor- famous for its good Japanese food.
There is free parking for guests, but the lots are limited (approximately 25 lots). There is free street parking along Sherwood road on the same side as the hotel.
Hotel design, ambience, service:
The hotel lobby is cozy and compact, with a small seating area in front of the reception desk. Depending on the day of the week & time of day, the staff range from invisible to proactively polite & are generally nice. There is a lift to take you to your rooms over the three floors that it spans.
Room design, comfort, acoustics: (deluxe King)
The rooms are decently sized- with adequate room for luggage and sufficient points for charging. There is an ironing board, kettle, room safe, free tea bags, the usual soaps & conditioners and moisturizers provided. The bathrooms are well designed with a nifty smart/switchable/ dynamic glass looking into the bedroom. The shower head is a rain shower type - definitely giving it cred. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable indeed- standout & remarkable. There are blackout curtains which work well. As for the acoustics- overall decently quiet given the location at the corner of a busy crossroad. Noise from the corridor does seep in depending on your neighbors. There is also the usual mild hum & grumble from the bar fridge & whine from the air conditioner. The occasional street car cacophony can be heard during the day, but generally it's quiet at night. So a good night's sleep is mostly achievable.
Overall: At the risk of making it more popular than it already is, this is a highly recommended property outside the city, with free parking. Will return if in the area!
GGuest UserGreat location for the gabba and the small kitchen area with fridge was a bonus. It is advertised as with a swimming pool but it is no more than a jacuzzi with only 6 sun loungers, a really small space.
The room wasn’t as clean as u would have expected , floors were dirty on both tiles and carpet and the shelves were very dusty
AAnonymous UserFirst and foremost, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's incredibly convenient for transportation and very close to the city center and major attractions, making getting around a breeze. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice.
The hotel's overall environment is clean and tidy, and the lobby is spacious and bright. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and courteous; they proactively greet guests every time, making you feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were also incredibly efficient, with virtually no waiting time, making the entire process very smooth.
The room layout is well-designed, offering ample space and excellent natural light. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, fully equipped, and the toiletries were of good quality. What pleasantly surprised me most was the excellent soundproofing in the room – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, allowing for a truly peaceful rest.
The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, catering to all tastes. The servers were also very attentive, proactively asking if guests needed assistance, which left a very positive impression.
I also had the chance to experience the hotel's gym and swimming pool this time. Both were well-equipped and well-maintained, with a very clean and relaxing environment. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable and quiet, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating.
In summary, this is a high-quality hotel with excellent service, complete facilities, and a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it for both business trips and family vacations. Next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose to stay here again!
GGuest UserThe location is a major plus, very close to Central Station (within walking distance) and not far from the long-distance bus terminal (a $7-8 Didi ride). It's also quite convenient for shopping in the city.
The service was decent. There was a Chinese-speaking front desk staff during the day, though I'm not sure if they spoke Mandarin as we communicated entirely in English. In the evenings, the front desk was staffed by Indian colleagues, who were also good, just spoke a bit fast. Their attitude was very friendly.
Breakfast was a buffet, and the offerings varied slightly each day. Items were replenished fairly quickly, though the staff were quite busy, making communication not always easy.
Overall, it offers good value for money.
Toothbrushes and slippers were not provided, but toiletries were. For charging, only USB and Australian plugs were available.
Guests come from all over the world, with a good number from Taiwan and Korea. Hope this review helps!
GGuest UserI was lucky to choose this hotel in Brisbane during the Christmas holiday. The suite has two large beds, a kitchen with a dishwasher, two sinks in the bathroom, separate wet and dry areas, and a beautiful swimming pool. The location is also good. There is a bus but the train requires more than ten minutes of walking up and down the hill, which is quite tiring.
TTaishanshendiaoxialvHotel location: Super convenient, right outside is George Square and Queen Street. You can even see the clock tower of the square from your room. Truly irreplaceable.
Hardware facilities: The space isn't huge, but the facilities are quite complete. Although it's an old hotel, the cleanliness is still good.
Service: We stayed for 2 nights and noticed there was only one bottle of milk. We told the staff, and they immediately brought a whole pack, which was great.
However, the bathroom fan was broken. We called maintenance, and they came to look at it but couldn't fix it on the spot, saying they'd come back the next afternoon. But when we returned to our room late the next evening, it still wasn't fixed, and we weren't informed why. This needs improvement.
RRay_ToowoombaVery close to the Fortitue valley bar area.
Pool is small on the roof top so it’s not heated.
Generally quite good.
Not exactly located at the central CBD.
GGuest UserIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site.
Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in.
Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in.
Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think.
I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist.
Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!)
I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house)
So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one.
Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit.
We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have.
If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.
GGuest UserGreat position clean and very tidy lovely service
Undergoing construction so get drills and hammers from 730 onwards in the morning, but that’s only for a while
GGuest UserAn absolutely excellent place stay, would recommend, even just based on the staff and the breakfast.
I observed that great care was taken of people checking in to stay who would be going to the hospitals local to the area.
Check-in was so easy, and the reception staff was very kind. Things I loved:
* the included healthy breakfast,
* free on-site parking
*Ferrari in the reception area (no idea why it's there, and I'm no car enthusiast, but it is a classy touch)
* very friendly and kind staff
* neat and good layout of room
* comfortable bed
* good air conditioning
* friendly people throughout the building
* walking distance to Chermside shopping centre
* excellent price
Thing I didn't like as much:
* not really sound-proofed, you sometimes hear sounds from other rooms and hallways
* the balcony area did have a bit of a smell in the early evening, dissuading me from eating outside until later on - this might have just been the day I stayed. It was nice enough later to leave the door open and have a bit of a breeze while sleeping.
Highly recommended.
