"Unazuki Onsen town is a truly rejuvenating place. It's a small town, and the hotel isn't far from Unazuki Onsen Station, so I didn't call for a pickup. I arrived by train from Tateyama, and to my surprise, the hotel's shuttle was waiting right as I got off – a pleasant surprise! Upon entering the hotel lobby, you're greeted by a stunning view of the river and lush trees through the large front windows. The lobby itself is spacious, bright, and spotless, instantly making you feel comfortable. The room was huge, with views of the Kurobe Gorge right outside the window. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly rich and varied, offering a delicious spread of both Japanese and Western cuisine – a real treat for the taste buds! The large public bath was also excellent, featuring an outdoor section where you can soak in the hot spring while enjoying the surrounding greenery. I only stayed one night this time and didn't get to ride the Kurobe Gorge Railway, but I'll definitely be back!"

"Facilities: The rooms are a bit dated. If you have high expectations for room amenities, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. There's a lounge with gaming equipment on the second floor. Both meals are buffet-style, and for dinner, you can order some additional local specialties. Overall, the food was decent. The men's outdoor bath is quite small, just enough for a quick dip. Cleanliness: Acceptable. Environment: Excellent. Service: The front desk staff's English is very poor, so be prepared with a translation app, but their service was otherwise good."
