Ramada Properties in Kunming

Pretty good! The room was spacious and the bed was huge. The view from the window was charming and the soundproofing was excellent. The only downside was that multiple hotels shared the same elevators, but the value for money completely made up for this drawback. Recommended!

Not far from the subway, this hotel is located on a quiet side street with a food street downstairs, offering everything from Chabaidao bubble tea to hotpot and rice noodles. The soundproofing is excellent; I didn't hear a peep from the neighboring rooms. Jia Hua Cake is conveniently located right next to the lobby. We even got a free room upgrade, which was a nice bonus. The air conditioning was powerful, and the room was spotlessly clean, complete with disposable toilet seat covers. It's a standalone building, not one of those shared hotel complexes, and you need a room card to access the upper floors. Locals told me this is the best hotel in the area. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming.

The location is quite close to both bus and subway stations. The room is spacious with a sofa, a lounge chair, and a coffee table. The bed is large enough to comfortably accommodate a small child. The bathroom and washroom have separate wet and dry areas, and the bathroom even has an emergency call device – a thoughtful touch. There's also a vanity for convenience. The curtains are automatic, which is smart, and there's a large-screen TV. The room is cleaned daily. Notably, the hotel provides a complimentary breakfast, which is quite varied, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, with freshly updated grains, vegetables, and fruits daily. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Kunming.
