"For the second and not the last time I stayed at the Ayurveda resort. A beautifully situated intimate Ayurvedic resort, situated on a high cliff, with exceptionally friendly care and a fabulous view of the Arabian Sea. Fantastic Ayurvedic treatments individually tailored to the patient. Caring and professional daily medical care by Dr. Baiju, daily yoga sessions at sunrise for everyone, a fantastic Ayurvedic vegetarian diet adjusted to the dosha. My therapist, Sindhu, always smiling and professional. Thanks to her massages, after 3 weeks I left with a fully functional foot after a torn ligament. My husband, after breaking a spur tooth in the past, thanks to the wonderful commitment of the therapists, started moving his head after 30 years. I will miss the 2-hour treatments very much. A huge thank you to two very important hosts who were always there: Gianni Demozzi and John KC. They were very caring, always ready to accept requests, advise and organize. We will definitely return to this little paradise on earth again next year."

"Booked at ideal but placed in Gods own country resort across the road. This wasnt an issue as we just walked across for breakfast. Varied ndian buffet as much as you want, fresh fruit and drinks,toast, eggs of every variation on offer. Friendly and attentive staff. Hotel lovely setting. Room rather dated and could definitely do with a spruce up but roomy and clean. Had to ask for room to be cleaned a couple of times. Fridge in room. A/C and fan. No kettle but quickly supplied one on request. We do like our early mornng cuppa! Lovely pool. Clean and quiet no issue with sunbeds. We did not have any treatments.. This is a vegetarian non alcoholic hotel so you will have to go to lighthouse or Kovalam beach for either. Shops and one restaurant local again no alcohol. As long as not too obvious alcohol can be purchased and brought back to rooms. Restaurant will sell to you at beaches. Also be aware cannot use uber and have to use the local drivrs from hotel and from the beaches. We had to use hotel car to take us to the airport but not expensive 13000 inr. Otherwise no issue. Use Uber where you can as a lot cheaper. Overall good value for money. Enjoy."

"I am in love with this paradise in Kerala. Every Member of the team of Somatheeram Ayurveda Village made my first experience with Ayurveda feels Amazing. "Good day everyone! It was my first time visiting India, Kerala, Ideal Ayurvedic Resort. To say that I had an unforgettable experience is an understatement. My 2 week stay at the Ayurvedic resort was simply excellent, from arrival at the airport till departure. The staff, service, food, treatment, ayurvedic massage are all top notch. I examined the local Ayurvedic centers and want to mention that there were centers with a higher level of accomodations, but Ideal Ayurvedic Resort corresponds to the price and quality. After two weeks of treatment, my general condition and mood noticeably improved, excess weight was noticeably gone, my skin condition were restored. I left with the intention of returning to this place again... Thank you for helping me to discover India at its best!!!
