"A stunning building with plenty of car parking and a town centre location offering plenty of eateries close by. The reception is unusually on the 4th floor. One lift was taped off as unserviceable but the other didn't seem to be working either. It was a long climb up the stairs to get a key and check in. I had been invited to check in on line to save hassle and waiting on arrival, which I did but it still meant heading to reception to get a key card. On arrival at 6:30pm there only seemed to be one staff member available and he was rushing around in the restaurant. There was no auto key collection facility, as was promised on the checkin email, but the staff member did apologise for keeping me waiting and it at least gave me chance to get my breath back after all the climbing. Room was OK, a little tired, but clean & warm. Shower was not very powerful but a pleasant bathroom. I elected to visit a local restaurant as the in house offerings of this brand tend to be bland & poor value. The same happened at breakfast. I went elsewhere as I tend to just like coffee and pastries and Premier Inn don’t distinguish between continental & full breakfast in their pricing, which I regard is too high anyway for the quality offered. Lots more climbing & descending of stairs during my stay as the lift never seemed to respond. A goodnights sleep but overall not a great stay and I would definitely Consider other alternative accommodation if I was to return to the area."

"Very nice hotel. Big car park. Very quiet place. Although the facilities are a bit old fashioned, it has everything you need for a business night. It also has a heater inside the room. No fridge and locker tho. I can see squirrel from my room’s window! It’s next to a petrol station with a small shop. But if drive for like 5-10mins, there are lots of restaurants and cafe and big supermarkets options."

"The very best of 'Bed and Breakfast' accomodation offering a wonderful interaction with polite, respectful, interesting, considerate and lovely couple. Those of us looking for a short break, an overnight stay, or even a longer holiday will, I'm certain, be equally impressed. Bed and Breakfast is, very sadly, a declining tradition which offers exceptional comparative value for, essentially, a bed overnight and breakfast. Both here are excellent and the breakfast is wonderful as individual taste is catered for, such as "well cooked" etc. This is unique to this type of accomodation and unequalled by any other; an experience not to be missed! The room was perfect with all essentials; comfortable, clean, very safe and secure and an absolute pleasure to stay in. Fully double glazed and well-decorated, with no traffic noise, and I stayed in the front of the building nearest the road. It is convenient and easy to find with close access to all major roads and set in a fascinating area with all sorts of attractions within close distance. David and Debbie, the couple who share their home with those of us fortunate enough to choose to stay here are, I found, calm, courteous, friendly and caring. They offer a relaxing and absolutely excellent experience, to all who wish for the perfect stay."
