It was recommended by a local friend for a business trip. It met my requirements for safety, cleanliness, quietness and convenience. There are large shopping malls and many restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Henry, the younger brother at the front desk, is super nice and patiently helps answer various questions, inquire about travel plans, etc. The only downside is the air conditioner, which makes too much noise when it works, and it didn't stop for a long time, so I had to turn it off.

The price is affordable and the decoration is good. I came to Houston twice and stayed here. The room is very comfortable. The lobby has a pool table, a bar, and many cubicles for meeting guests. Gym and pool are great. It may be because it can't eat breakfast, which leads to its low score. The hotel is good overall, there is a large shopping mall opposite.

The hotel was very clean and neat starting with the outside and continuing inside and into my room. The staff, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the front desk receptionist was amazing. The complimentary food at the breakfast was the best I have had at a smaller hotel. Only small downside, the water in the indoor pool was to cold to swim in.

Staying at this hotel for the second time is very comfortable. The back door is a large shopping center. The hotel is fully equipped. It is determined that the breakfast variety is less. The laundry room has eaten the money I bought the Tide washing powder twice. The machine can't spit out the Tide.

I travel weekly for my job and have stayed in countless hotels. This was by far one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in the past year of staying in so many different hotels!!! I highly recommend the Katy Best Western as your next stay if you are going to be in the area! Lots of attractions close by. Great restaurant and shopping with in walking distance of the hotel! The staff and stay were stellar!

Clean, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Some reviews spoke about unsavory characters hanging around near the Walmart next door. Everyone I saw hanging out were workers working a job away from home . I found no noise from trucks waiting to unload at Walmart and slept soundly every night. Easy access to I-10.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. Generally, we like Hilton facilities, but this one was bad. That said, the staff were all great, very friendly. The shower was dangerous! We could only get scalding hot water or freezing cold water. I spent 10 minutes pain-stakingly and very slowly trying to turn down the scalding water, and it suddenly went to very cold. There was no in-between temperature. I got down on my knees to shower because the farther away from the shower head you get, the cooler the water gets. And I tried not to stand in the running water any more than necessary. Even so, my skin was beet red by the time I got out. Anyone with tender skin could get burned. The bed was so broken down that you could see the huge divot on the surface of the mattress, and it was very uncomfortable. There was some kind of foam mattress pad that did not cover the entire mattress, leaving a step-off at the top of the bed. At breakfast, the eggs in a 2-egg omelette were paper-thin, as if about half an egg was used. It was served almost immediately, indicating that it had been cooked earlier and then reheated. Not good. And we never could get internet service on our laptops or our phones. I only give them 2 dots because the staff was nice. But the facility was terrible!

Excellent stay! We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beautiful. It is exactly what I come to expect from the Holiday Inn brand-simple, clean, affordable hotel stay that feels like home. I also want to comment on the complimentary breakfast. This was the best breakfast service I’ve ever had. The gentleman was incredibly attentive and was so helpful getting you what you need and he always met you with a smile. What a pleasure!

This is my second time staying here and I loved it both times! My first stay I got the king room suite (room 229) and I LOVE that room so much I got it again my second time! The room is big and spacious and has a kitchen! Also has a door to a small covered private balcony which is a great smoke break spot! My boyfriend and I love it, bed is super comfy, room is always clean, and price is super affordable, location is great! It can’t really get any better!

Henry, the younger brother at the front desk, is super nice and patiently helps answer various questions, inquire about travel plans, etc. The only downside is the air conditioner, which makes too much noise when it works, and it didn't stop for a long time, so I had to turn it off.

Staying at this hotel for the second time is very comfortable. The back door is a large shopping center. The hotel is fully equipped. It is determined that the breakfast variety is less. The laundry room has eaten the money I bought the Tide washing powder twice. The machine can't spit out the Tide.

The hotel was very clean and neat starting with the outside and continuing inside and into my room. The staff, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the front desk receptionist was amazing. The complimentary food at the breakfast was the best I have had at a smaller hotel. Only small downside, the water in the indoor pool was to cold to swim in.

Excellent stay! We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beautiful. It is exactly what I come to expect from the Holiday Inn brand-simple, clean, affordable hotel stay that feels like home. I also want to comment on the complimentary breakfast. This was the best breakfast service I’ve ever had. The gentleman was incredibly attentive and was so helpful getting you what you need and he always met you with a smile. What a pleasure!

This is my second time staying here and I loved it both times! My first stay I got the king room suite (room 229) and I LOVE that room so much I got it again my second time! The room is big and spacious and has a kitchen! Also has a door to a small covered private balcony which is a great smoke break spot! My boyfriend and I love it, bed is super comfy, room is always clean, and price is super affordable, location is great! It can’t really get any better!

The price is affordable and the decoration is good. I came to Houston twice and stayed here. The room is very comfortable. The lobby has a pool table, a bar, and many cubicles for meeting guests. Gym and pool are great. It may be because it can't eat breakfast, which leads to its low score. The hotel is good overall, there is a large shopping mall opposite.
