"We spend there 2 days with our 9yo daughter in summer time. Hotel is very nice. At that time was packed with guests. Room was claen ad nice aldough the view was not spectacular... Food was wery good ad deliciuos. Hitel has a several swiming pools and has a nice sandy beach like 100m away. On the beach you can find very good restauraiunt and not very expensive. Overall stay was very nice. "

Apartments Amfora Plava Laguna ★★★★

"They are not worth 4 stars. The design and furniture are very outdated. The bed was just a solid wooden board with a mattress. Only 1 bedroom has airconditioning so the second bedroom gets really uncomfortable. The water heater in the bathroom only has water for 2 people to shower briefly and lukewarm, the other people just had cold water. The taps were loose and not working properly. The airconditioning was completely clogged with dust. The stairs were loose which was very dangerous. In the kitchen is no oven but only a microwave and a toaster. The toaster was broken and after reporting this the broken one was picked up but we never got a new one. The barbecue on the balcony is not usable as it has no grates. We reported this by email and asked for a paid upgrade so we could enjoy our vacation but this turned out to be impossible as we booked through a travel agency? Sounds strange to me as they could have substracted the amount for the appartment. We were offerded a bungalow but this is just the same accomodation only on the ground floor so not an upgrade. The resort itself is tidy and there are lots of activities for children. All-in all we paid too much money for a disappointing vacation."

"It's a very large complex with several buildings. Our room was in the Perla building and was quite spacious. The air conditioning worked great. There was a mini-fridge that kept things very cold and a safe. The furniture was fairly new, and the bathroom was also renovated. However, the walls were quite scuffed and could use a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the views from the restaurant were beautiful. There's a pool and direct access to the beach. They don't provide specific beach/pool towels (you can use the ones from your room). There's also a large free parking lot. It's a bit of a walk from the center of Izola, about 25 minutes on foot."

"I really liked this hotel, especially for the wonderful location. Parking was easy, which is not common in July, the daily price was very economical. The "beach" area, the quotes are because there is no sand, it is very well served with sun loungers and is very peaceful and pleasant. what can be improved: The buffet food was below reasonable. They try to have an extensive offer, but the way of cooking is worthy of a school canteen. Bar in the beach area, little on offer and little friendliness. The options around are much more attractive."
