Arkasa Palace

"We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. As we stayed at the Aphrodite villa which is considered prime accommodation, we expected more for our money. After 3 days our towels were still not replaced and one of the towels once had yellow stains on. We got clean sheets only once during our stay. The swimming pool pump was broken with the lid and filter flouting in the pool and was only cleaned the day before we left. The terrace was cleaned only once during our stay of 7 days. The dishes and glasses were washed and left wet on the drip tray and the coffee machine was never cleaned and the dirt bins were not cleaned regularly. Our room was sometimes cleaned between 15h00 and 16h00. You only receive 2 coffee pods on the day of arrival and have to buy additional pods for making coffee. The hot breakfast was disappointing. Ons day omelettes with the same filling every time and the next day boiled or fried eggs. The building needs attention. The one blind at the breakfast area was broken and it was quite windy during breakfast. Our friends had a smart TV in there room and could watch Netflix and we had an old TV with news in English and other languages Maria and her family are very friendly but she was more concerned with organising her brother’s wedding and went to Athens to buy a dress the last day of our stay. Her parents helped out when she was not there."

"We had an amazing experience at Arpathea Villas! We stayed at Villa I, the view was absolutely breathtaking and made the whole experience even more special. The customer service was excellent — everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The villa itself was comfortable, beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a perfect and relaxing getaway. Everything was excellent from start to finish and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!"

"A really wonderful hotel that has exceeded our expectations, the rooms were clean (the cleanest hotel we have stayed), comfortable and careful until the last detail. The hospitality was unique and made us feel at home from the very first moment.Excellent morning, the view from the room magic and the drinks and the food they offered to the pool were worth 10! Their smile, politeness and sincere interest made our stay perfect and unforgettable. Their dedication to the service of visitors is shown in every detail. Panorama Hotel

"A family-run hotel, the owner Nicos has always been kind and helpful. It's a hotel that doesn't sell itself as something it isn't; if you're looking for luxury and comfort, this isn't for you. The location is truly strategic, very close to the beach and fifteen minutes from the center of Pigadia. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness is good. It's a shame about the breakfast, which is rather meager (it could be better), and that we were asked to change rooms at the beginning of our stay. Otherwise, our experience was very positive!"

"The common areas are dirty, and in a week, the towels were never changed, the room was never swept, the bathroom was never cleaned, and the sheets were never changed. The air conditioning was paid for at an unspecified rate (€10 per day). The bathroom fixtures were indecent, and the water flow was ridiculous (it alternated between hot and cold, weak, and strong, without any adjustments on the mixer). Poor service, and breakfast had very few choices."

Istia Luxury Villas

"My family and I had a great 5 night stay at Istia. The view is incredible and the property is well-maintained. The condos are well-appointed for comfort and relaxing. We cooked breakfast and other light meals. Matina is always available for assistance and recommendations. You will need a car or rely on taxis if you rent here. We rented from Takis Rent a Car, which was also a great experience. It was a great stay and we are sad to say goodbye — for now!"

They take very good care of their guests and provide very useful information about the hidden jewels of the magical island they live on. "Great location - to enjoy sunset in balcony, 2 min walk to restaurants, 100 from grocery store. Lush garden around appartments. Nice morning walks in shade and wind with our PWD to hill and evening shade in peninsula. Big thanks to Jenny and her mother for hospitality ..we felt like living with our family. Great location for surfing, windsurfing and climbimg ..nearny Finiki and Adia has new bolted routes."
