This room 119 was a distance away from the main area but it was a nice walk, one can opt for a golf cart to pick you up. Being greeted by the singing Masai ladies was so lovely! The staff are very friendly and helpful, eager to please and some are young and being mentored by the senior staff. Thank you Naeema and Ana, and to our escorts who waited in the cold yo guide us back to the room! The one feedback we must bring upshot the government must address are the roads leading up to the hotel, it's one of the bumpiest rides we've had. If you have a bad back it is a bad experience."

"This accommodation is perfectly located, only 8min away from the Gate to Ngorongoro Nationalpark and a lovely place to be!! We had a very warm welcome and also a nice tour around the whole complex with all the beautiful gardens, lots of animals and even a bakery where they prepare their own bread. The food was delicious and always more than you can eat, also the lunch boxes for our Safari were nicely prepared. We would highly recommend Stc Safari Lodge!!"

"This was the our last hotel on our sixteen day safari. The hotel has a great setting with a picturesque view over Lake Manyara. The rooms, although not large, have a nice ambience and are very comfortable. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food was good with decent variety, especially the breakfast. Although we didn't use the pool, it is set on the cliff for a great view of the lake. There was some good local entertainment around the pool that sounded almost Celtic, which we enjoyed. The only negative thing was that we were shortchanged at checkout. It wasn' much, but when I brought it to the ladies attention she just shrugged me off. I felt the amount wasn't worth a scene, but it did leave a sour feeling to an anotherwise good stay. The park itself was anticlimatic in regards to game viewing after our other park experiences. It would be O.K. as a first stop but not last. It is difficult to see much because of the forest and one is to far away from the waters edge to see anything, Even the hippo pond requires field glasses. I must say though we were very lucky. While we were driving to leave we came across some tree lions. Our guide was quite surprised as he hadn't seen any there in three years and thought they had all been killed off when they ventured out of the park. So it did make for a great end to our trip"
